Flemington Race 3
(1) Satorial Splendor is absolutely flying at the moment and this looks another race well within his reach. The 3kg claim for Cartwright is a massive plus as he only goes up 1kg off the back of a very good win last start. Is a deadset 1000m specialist and should lead these up and be too good again.

Flemington Race 6
(6) Realm Of Flowers is another horse who is airborne at the moment. Has run some huge late sectionals in recent races and will be rock hard for for this today. This looks her grand final and deserves a win this prep. Should have a bit more luck than recently with a smaller field here today and think she looks very hard to beat.

Doomben Race 7
Trying to figure out how they beat (2) Eduardo here in the G1 Doomben 10,000. Proper G1 form jumps off the page recently and Joe Pride clearly has this horse figured out. Should go straight to the lead and expect Nash to boot him home in the wet conditions he loves. If there’s any knock it could be the 1200m but he just looks better than them.
Morphettville Race 8
The other Group 1 of the day is the Goodwood in Adelaide and I’m siding with the best horse in the race in (2) Gytrash. Gordon Richards stable star returns to the track following another good prep, running 3rd in The Everest and winning a couple of good races in Sydney. Is clearly the horse to beat and if anywhere near right, just wins.
Rosehill Race 9
(16) Count De Rupee looks very hard to beat 2nd up here. Finished a closing 2nd to Marway last start over 1250m and that form continues to just look better and better. The step to 1400m will only be a positive and should enjoy the gun run from gate 4 with Berry to ride. Looks close to the bet of the day and will start well shorter than $3.
