The NBA rolls on with a nice early slate for us Aussies on Wednesday, March 4. Tips start around 10:10 am, so here are three games that look like good value based on the lines, form, home/road splits and the latest injury updates. Good luck to everyone following along!

NBA Betting Tips: Wednesday, March 4th 2026
Detroit Pistons at Cleveland Cavaliers (10:10 am AEDT)
East leaders head to face the fourth placed Cavs in a tight Central Division clash at Rocket Arena. The Pistons sit top of the East at 45-14 and have been excellent away from home, defending hard and getting balanced scoring across the group. They come in with a strong road ATS record of 17-11 this season and no major fresh injury concerns beyond typical rest management.
Cleveland sits at 38-24 but has struggled against the spread all year with a 26-36 mark overall. They compete at home but have been inconsistent lately and often fail to cover when facing the top teams.
This one should be physical and close early, but Detroit holds the clear edge in current form, motivation and ATS reliability on the road. The -1.5 line feels short for the conference leaders here. I like the Pistons to grind out a cover in what shapes as a low-scoring battle.
Detroit Pistons -1.5

New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors (10:40 am AEDT)
Knicks roll into Scotiabank Arena as slight favourites after some solid recent results. New York sits third in the East at 39-22 and plays tough, gritty basketball that travels reasonably well. Their overall ATS record sits at 31-29-1, though they have been a bit streaky on the road (12-18 ATS).
Toronto sits fifth in the East at 35-25 and can scrap hard at home, but they have had real trouble containing stronger Eastern sides lately. Their ATS mark is even at 31-29-0 overall and they have been vulnerable in spots like this against teams with better depth.
The Knicks should control the tempo and limit big runs from the Raptors. The -2.5 spread offers value given New York's edge in consistency and the Raptors' mixed home results against quality opposition. Expect the visitors to keep it within a possession most of the night and sneak the cover.
New York Knicks -2.5

San Antonio Spurs at Philadelphia 76ers (11:10 am AEDT)
Spurs make the trip east as one of the hottest teams in the West, sitting second at 43-17 with clean, efficient play on both ends. They handle road games well and have posted a strong ATS record of 33-26-2 overall this season, often cashing as favourites.
Philadelphia sits sixth in the East at 33-27 and has shown fight at home, but they have been up and down against top Western visitors. Their ATS mark sits at 33-27-0, which is decent but less impressive when facing teams on a roll like San Antonio.
The Spurs hold the advantage in talent, momentum and execution right now. They should set the tone early and pull away in the second half. The -7.5 spread looks fair and playable given the gap in current form and the Spurs' proven ability to cover in these matchups.
San Antonio Spurs -7.5
