The rail is in its true position for this meeting and conditions are expected to be soft with overcast weather on race day. The first race starts at 12:35pm and the last concludes at 5:15pm AEDT.

Rosehill Gardens Racing Tips: Saturday, October 10th 2026

Race 6: TAB Roman Consul Stakes – GROUP 2 – 1200m - 3:35pm (AEDT)

(1) Paradoxium: 3YO Colt who returned superbly winning at group 3 level down the Flemington straight when leading and then bursting away in the final furlong to win by a length. Quite an impressive win. Rises to Group 2 now and gets out an extra 100m. Draws low and maps to lead and dictate again. Will take catching and deserves to be equal favourite.

(2) The Machine Gun: Roughie of the field who is two from two and that includes a Listed race. Much tougher here but has had some early market support indicating he will go well. Blow out hope.

(14) Satono Glow: 3YO filly who has already shown plenty of talent with 3 wins from just 4 starts, including an impressive first-up victory down the Flemington straight in Group 3 company. Steps up to Group 2 level here and gets back out to 1200m, which looks ideal. She contested a Group 2 over this trip at Randwick last prep and was badly held up through the final 400m before finally seeing daylight and absolutely savaging the line to grab 4th. She deserved to finish much closer and gets 2.5kg off her back this time compared to that affair. Has since trialled sensationally and looks ready to take the next step. Zac Lloyd takes the ride, she handles all conditions and although likely to settle rearward, should get every chance to peel out and unleash that sharp turn of foot. Early market support adds confidence. On top.

(14) Satono Glow - WIN

$2.70 (3 Units)

Race 7: Toyota Forklifts Hill Stakes - GROUP 2 - 1900m- 4:10pm (AEDT)

(1) Lindermann: 7YO Gelding who finds himself a much easier affair here from his past three runs and when at Group 2 company two back absolutely bolted in winning by nearly 2L. Back to Group 2 level here, rates well and maps to roll forward and dictate to his liking. Nash continues to steer and looks the one they need to beat.

(3) Attrition: 7YO who has progressed nicely with all three runs back and most recently figured at Group 1 level over 1800m behind Cosmic Crusader / Birdman which are pretty good form lines with Cosmic Crusader going on to win last weekend. Rock hard fit now fourth up, drawn well and Jamie MOTT remains in the saddle who is in fine form. Worth each way play.

(4) Militarize: 6YO Gelding who the bookies love as punters keep tipping in and he keeps getting rolled. Once again, he has been crunched in the early market. $7.50 into $6, but he has been safely held in his two runs back. Strips fitter third up and gets a handy draw, so best is good enough, but needs to bring his A game.

(1) Lindermann - WIN

$1.75 (5 Units)

Race 8: Alan Brown Stakes – GROUP 3 -1400m - 4:50pm (AEDT)

(1) Gringotts: 7YO who boasts an impressive record with the 12 wins, 11 placings from 31 career starts. He resumed this preparation with a 3rd behind AUTUMN GLOW / SHEZA ALIBI over 1400m and then tackled 1600m and only finished 2L off the winner (AUTMN GLOW) in a blanket finish for the minor placings. Drops back to Group 3 company now, but will need to lug 61kg, however he has had no problem in carrying weight in the past, so I wouldn’t underestimate him with the big weight. Draws a sticky gate, so will require some luck and the market has showed minimal support which is a slight concern. Wouldn’t leave out of any exotics.

(2) Headley Grange: 6YO gelding who continues to race well and after an impressive first-up victory in Group 2 company, he gave a great account of himself second-up, chasing hard under a heavy 61kg in the Group 3 Bill Ritchie. Stripping fitter now third-up where he maps brilliantly from a favourable barrier. With several primary threats expected to accept in Victoria instead, he should get the right run in a smaller field. Honest type who will be thereabouts. Happy to stick.

(11) Linebacker: 5YO gelding who was sound first up when closing intently over 1400m with the second fastest last 200m split. Has since trialled and looked very handy. Strips fitter for this run and will be thereabouts. Early market support indicates the stable are bullish. Value.

(2) Headley Grange - E/W

$6.00/$2.40 (1U/3U)
