Week 6 of the NFL season arrives on Monday morning in Australia with the competition beginning to take shape as we approach the middle stages of the campaign. Kansas City remains undefeated, Buffalo is looking to strengthen its position in the AFC East, and several teams already find themselves under pressure to turn their seasons around. With another huge slate ahead, we have three feature games to break down alongside our best bets across the rest of Monday's action.
Our feature games begin with the winless Chargers travelling to Arrowhead to face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Josh Allen and the Bills then head to Las Vegas looking to bounce back from a disappointing defensive performance before Sunday Night Football sees the Cowboys and Packers meet at Lambeau Field.

NFL Week 6 Monday Betting Tips
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
7:25am AEDT
Los Angeles has endured a nightmare start to the season, falling to 0-5 after another disappointing defeat against Denver last weekend. Justin Herbert has struggled to find consistency behind an offensive line decimated by injuries, with the Chargers averaging just 14.2 points per game through their opening five contests. The absence of Joe Alt and several other key contributors has made life particularly difficult, while injuries throughout the receiving group have further restricted an offence that was expected to be far more productive.
Kansas City returns from its bye week sitting at 4-0 and looking every bit like a Super Bowl contender. Patrick Mahomes has been outstanding following his return from injury, while offseason addition Kenneth Walker III has transformed the Chiefs' rushing attack. Kansas City has also been excellent defensively, ranking among the league's best teams in both points and yards allowed. The Chiefs have had an additional week to prepare and should be confident of exploiting a Chargers side that has struggled to protect Herbert and generate sustained offensive pressure.
Prediction: Divisional matchups can produce surprises, but it is difficult to make a convincing case for Los Angeles here. Kansas City has the advantage at quarterback, a far healthier roster and an extra week of preparation, while the Chargers have struggled to move the football against considerably weaker opposition. Walker should find opportunities against a depleted Los Angeles defence, allowing Mahomes to control the game without needing to force the issue. We'll back the Chiefs to maintain their perfect record with a comfortable victory at Arrowhead.

Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders
7:25am AEDT
Buffalo enters Week 6 at 4-1 after producing a thrilling 37-34 overtime victory against the Rams on Monday Night Football. Josh Allen was once again the difference, throwing for 210 yards and adding another 121 on the ground as the Bills continued to demonstrate their offensive versatility. Allen has already rushed for eight touchdowns this season, while James Cook provides another dangerous option against a Raiders defence that has struggled badly to contain opposing running games.
Las Vegas started the season with three consecutive victories but has since suffered back-to-back defeats, including an embarrassing 45-17 loss to New England last weekend. The Raiders have now conceded 102 points across their past three games, with their early defensive dominance disappearing in recent weeks. Kirk Cousins has enjoyed some success through the air, particularly when targeting Brock Bowers, but the rushing attack has struggled to provide balance. Ashton Jeanty managed just 27 rushing yards against the Patriots, and the Raiders now face another difficult defensive assignment against a Buffalo team capable of controlling possession.
Prediction: Buffalo's defence remains vulnerable, particularly through the air, but the Raiders have shown little evidence that they can consistently exploit those weaknesses. Las Vegas has struggled to stop the run, which is a major concern against a Bills offence featuring both Allen and Cook. Buffalo should be able to establish its ground game and create opportunities for Allen through the air, while the Raiders will likely need to chase points. We'll back the Bills to cover on the road.

Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers
11:20am AEDT
Dallas heads to Lambeau Field at 2-3 after suffering a disappointing 24-16 defeat to Tampa Bay on Thursday Night Football. Dak Prescott has thrown for 1,381 yards and nine touchdowns through five games, but the Cowboys have struggled to consistently convert their offensive opportunities into points. The return of CeeDee Lamb should provide a significant boost to the passing game, particularly alongside George Pickens, although Dallas continues to have problems defensively. The Cowboys have allowed at least 20 points in 12 consecutive games and have struggled to contain explosive passing plays.
Green Bay responded emphatically to its inconsistent start with a dominant 31-7 victory over Chicago last weekend. Jordan Love produced his best performance of the season, throwing for 367 yards and taking his touchdown tally to 10 through five games. Christian Watson has emerged as a genuine big-play threat, averaging more than 18 yards per reception with six touchdowns, while Matthew Golden provides another dangerous option downfield. The Packers will be without Josh Jacobs again, but their passing attack looks well equipped to exploit a Dallas secondary that has struggled to generate turnovers.
Prediction: This shapes as an entertaining Sunday Night Football contest between two teams with plenty of offensive firepower. Dallas should find opportunities against a Green Bay secondary dealing with injuries, but the Cowboys' own defensive struggles are difficult to ignore. Love is coming off an outstanding performance against Chicago and should have plenty of opportunities to attack downfield through Watson and Golden. With the Packers laying less than a field goal at home, we'll back Green Bay to continue its resurgence.
