Warriors vs Tigers Predictions & Tips: NRL Round 4 2026

Terrific Warriors do the little things well

The Warriors have started the season strongly and continued their winning streak with a comprehensive 38-12 road victory over the Knights. Their opponents were tough early but once the visitor’s gained ascendency, they managed the game strongly. Their victory was established via a 56% share of possession, supported by and 87% completion rate, and making 9.3m per carry. Combined with 7 line breaks and just 24 missed tackles, the Warriors were clinical in building pressure and taking their opportunities. This discipline has served them well in the past; the challenge is maintaining this standard. Several improved individual players are leading this team strongly also.

More challenges to overcome

Following an impressive opening result at home to the Cowboys, the Tigers came crashing back to earth in their 20-16 loss to the Rabbitohs. It wasn’t so much the result as the injuries which were suffered to key players, which will only cause further headaches for them moving forward. Without Luai and Doueihi (named for this week but unlikely to play) now, they must focus on the positives from that performance. These included their 84% completion rate, 9.4m per carry, 643 PCM’s, and just 29 missed tackles. The foundation of an improved team is evident; it is now about displaying resilience to cover their player losses in the short term.

Stats that matter

- The Warriors have won the past 9 straight games against the Tigers. The last time the Tigers defeated the Warriors was Round 2, 2019.

- The average margin of victory in the past 5 matches is 12.4 points. The total points average is somewhat low also, sitting at 43.6 points.

- The Warriors love playing at home with a 57% winning rate here. The Tigers will dread the trip across for a variety of reasons but having won just 38% of matches here does not help their cause.

Warriors to continue their strong start

Unfortunately for the Tigers (and this contest), injuries to key players weakens their ability to compete with the Warriors over 80 minutes. The home side also welcomes back a host of key players; along with Metcalf, Nicoll-Klokstad, Haris-Tavita, and Pompey come back into the starting side. This confirms the Warriors price; it would be an upset should the Tigers win this match, but they are not without hope. Several of their players are performing with a point to prove and the effort on both sides of the ball is evident. This is their toughest test though and one that requires minimal errors. It’ll be a good reminder for the team of the level they need to perform at, and they should only be better for it; however, it appears the Warriors are more capable of winning this contest. Their performances this season are to be admired. They have played with poise and build relentless pressure on their opponents. This week should be no different. Their ability to score points this season has been impressive and should ensure that they are able to cover the line on offer in this match while keeping their undefeated start to the season going.

Warriors vs Tigers Same Game Multi

Leg 1 = Total points over 46.5 – it might break the trend of the recent history between these two sides, but the Warriors has signalled everything this season to suggest that their high scoring in matches is likely to continue.

Leg 2 = Metcalf to score – it’s been a long layoff for Metcalf as he has recovered from an ACL injury. Regardless, he has 4 tries from his past 3 matches against the Tigers and will look to assert his dominance in his return.

Leg 3 = Pompey to score – he is another player who returns from injury and has a positive record against the Tigers, scoring in 3 of his past 5 matches against them. His past 5 matches at this venue have also seen him score 4 tries.

Scooby's strength is assessing the overall team - what they offer across the field in a match and how the ethos of a club contributes to their success. Momentum also has a major impact on sports, and Scooby likes to explore this, while underpinning his judgement against a solid basis of statistical analysis. When combined with the aforementioned points, it combines for a holistic approach towards betting on rugby league.
