Vitality vs ENCE
BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown
Vitality are coming into the match with a 3-2 record from their last five matches. The French picked up wins against ENCE and twice against Ninjas in Pyjamas, however lost to Natus Vincere and G2. In all fairness, Vitality had the chance to defeat G2 and NiP, but somehow managed to let the game slip between their fingers, which is concerning, but can easily be explained with the fact that Vitality are still playing without a proper In-game leader. But as long as shox can show up occasionally and ZywOo can continue averaging 1.23 HLTV rating, Vitality are far from a bad team.
ENCE, on the other side, looked amazing in their 2-0 win over Natus Vincere, but have since cooled down a bit and suffered two straight losses against Ninjas in Pyjamas and Vitality. ENCE have recently signed Jamppi who played surprisingly well against NaVi and looked like a perfect fit for this team, but we can’t know for sure whether he will continue playing at the same level going forward.
Considering this is a BO1 type of match, I don't see any reason why Vitality are priced so low. The online format coupled with BO1 series is often a coinflip and since neither ENCE nor Vitality are playing at their best, I expect to see another close match, which will end with only a couple of rounds separating the winners from the losers. Value bet on ENCE to keep it close.
Astralis vs Ninjas in Pyjamas
BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown
Ninjas in Pyjamas have ended their DreamHack Masters Spring campaign with one win against ENCE and two 0-2 losses against Natus Vincere and Vitality. Those results were very disappointing, considering NiP recently pocketed a fifth-place finish at the ESL One: Road to Rio, where they lost only against top tier teams such as Astralis, Vitality and FaZe. However, I expected to see some instability from this team since NiP recently fired their IGL Lekro and replaced him with a new captain hampus, who will need some time to adapt to the new roster.
It's very obvious that Astralis are going through difficult times as of late. Adding salt to the wound, their IGL gla9ve left the active roster on medical leave, while one of the best "clutchers" in the game, Xyp9x, decided to take a break. Replacing the duo are JUGi and Snappi, who are obvious downgrades and since Astralis field only three of their core members, we have to ask ourselves, is this really the Astralis we have come to know? I'm not trying to say JUGi and Snappi are terrible players, but they're not suitable replacements for Xyp9x and gla9ve, not by a long shot.
I expect Astralis to struggle even more now that they have two new players and considering Magisk has taken over the IGL role, he is likely to perform way worse as he usually does as well. The odds here are obviously inflated due to Astralis' brand name but they have no business being priced as favourites against a team that will be hungry to get a win against the “mighty” Astralis. Value bet on Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Astralis vs sAw
LAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown
SAw were absolutely dreadful to watch at the recent BLAST Rising 2020, where they won only one match against AVEZ, however some of their fixtures were incredibly close and could've gone either way, especially their two matches against Heretics (17-19 and 14-16). On a positive note, sAw won the RTP Arena Cup with clean wins over KPI, Real Betis and Movistar Riders and won two out of four matches at the Home Sweet Home Cup 6 against HONORIS and Salamander. The Portuguese squad are boasting a 58% win rate across the past three months, so they should be entering the match in good spirits and hungry to prove they can hang with the best.
As talked about above, I don't rate Astralis very highly with two new players and Magisk taking over as the new IGL. This is not the same juggernaut team they once were and without the brains of the team (gla1ve), Astralis are bound to struggle against any team they face. Betting on Astralis here might still look like an attractive option at these odds, but considering they are facing a very motivated team that has shown a fair amount of solid results, the AH bet on sAw makes more sense to me, especially since this will be the first match for the "new" Astralis. Expect sAw to keep this one close.
