Canterbury hosts an eight-race card on Wednesday to headline racing in NSW. The first race commences at 12:10pm AEST and the last concludes at 4:25pm AEST. The rail is set to be out 3m for the entire way, and our selections are for a GOOD track. Watch and monitor.

Race 5: Ranvet BM78 1250 – 2:30pm (AEST)
(4) Gracilistyla $5.00: 5YO returning from a let up and gets back to midweek racing after being good against Saturday company at Randwick. J-Mac in the saddle boosts confidence and is proven over this track/distance. This looks easier and should be ready to win again.
(6) Dakota Vroomo $6.50: Nice value chance here and looks suited back at this track now. Has form behind STARMAN which should’ve been Franked on the weekend. Worth thought at an each way price.

Race 6: Kia Ora Prague BM72 1100m - 3:10pm (AEST)
(8) Spring Lee $3.90: 3YO filly who resumes today. Boasts an impressive record and comes into this off two handy trials. Early market support suggests she is in good order. Draws a sticky gate, but with some luck she will be the one to beat here.
(3) Confess Our Dreams $6.50: Won three in a row before failing to fire last start at Randwick. Gets in lighter now and back to midweek racing. Looks a danger with the light weight here and can run a race at an each way price. One for the exotics.

Race 8: Exceedance @ Vinery Stud BM72 1900m 4:25pm (AEST)
(4) Smart Legend $6.50/$2.00: 4YO who has been consistent all prep with 5 of the last 6 runs filling the minors. Remains at the same class with a 2kg claim and is closing in on a win. Expect him to get a nice run midfield and swarming late to pick them up. Goes well.
(5) Yet He Moves $2.30: Early favourite who has had a slight drift but looks ideal second up now with J-Mac in the saddle. Draws a nice low gate and expect him to dictate the race to his liking. Proven over this track and distance and worth thought here. Fitter.
