Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday February 4th 2026

February 3rd 2026, 2:22pm, By: Trent Orwin

Warwick Farm Racing Tips

Warwick Farm hosts midweek racing in New South Wales on Wednesday, and with light showers the day before, they could be racing on a Soft track.

The first race jumps at 2:20pm (AEDT) and there will be two maidens to start the program. In addition, one Benchmark 68, three Benchmark 72, and one Benchmark 78 Handicap will be run. The rail is out +3m for the entire circuit, and the track was listed as a Soft 6 on Tuesday.

Trent Orwin has done the form to bring you his three best bets for day from Warwick Farm this Wednesday. Help support our FREE content by signing up to a new Australian sportsbook, and if you’re after more free tips for this week’s key meetings, then head over to our Racing Tips page!

Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, February 4th 2026

Race 1: Arrowfield Graduates Handicap 1400m – 2:20pm (AEDT)

(3) Bello Cavallo has had two runs this prep for a second at Randwick-Kensington before heading north to tackle the Magic Millions Maiden Plate (1400m) where he was too far back in the run and finished sixth. His sectionals out of that race were superb. The smaller field of eight suits more here, and from gate four, jockey Tom Sherry will try and settle in front of a few. Swag, who ran fourth in the Magic Millions Maiden Plate, has since won a Gold Coast maiden in dominant fashion. Looks a great each-way chance.

(1) Kokatahi is one of three Chris Waller-prepared runners in the race and the three-year-old gelding looks ready to break the maiden. He has been placed in all four career starts and with the 3kg claim from Siena Grima, looks a strong contender.

(7) Feminino was third on debut, finishing less than a length behind Kokatahi. From gate two, Tim Clark will be positive with the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott runner. The three-year-old filly will improve off that first-up effort and has definite claims here.

(3) Bello Cavallo E/W

$6.50/$2.15 (1.5 Units)

Race 3: Ranvet Handicap 1400m – 3:30pm (AEDT)

(8) Asilah was a brilliant winner on debut at Beaumont-Newcastle, winning by 2.4 lengths, as her sectionals between the 800m to the 200m were exceptional. There’s no reason she won’t be able to reproduce against second-up from a spell, unless the run flattened her, which of course it can do to some horses. With just six rivals set to face her (one scratching already), Asilah should prove hard to beat again.

(6) Little Iris has also had one victory from her only start and looks the leader in the race from the inside draw. She is definitely good enough to go on with it and would love to get away with a bit in front in the first half of the race.

(4) Decorum raced twice last prep for a second and a win. Prepared by Michael Freedman, the three-year-old colt has had two trials in preparation and should be ready to go first-up from a spell. A big positive is that he has already won over the 1400m.

(8) Asilah WIN

$2.80 (2 Units)

Race 6: Ole Kirk First Yearlings Handicap 2400m – 5:15pm (AEDT)

(3) Assailant narrowly missed over 1900m last start and the step to 2400m shouldn’t bother him too much despite not winning over the distance yet from two attempts. In June 2025, Assailant finished less than a length from Half Yours who went on to capture the Caulfield Cup-Melbourne Cup double. Adam Hyeronimus will be going forward from gate five in a bid to lead the field. Should be the testing material in this line up.

(1) Forbidden Riff is racing in brilliant form with three-straight wins coming before a second placed effort over the 2400m at Rosehill. He is the other horse that wouldn’t mind leading the field or settling in the top two in running. Should be ready to throw down with Assailant in this race.

(7) Lunar Lover is a last start winner over the 2400m at Kembla Grange, beating an easier field by 2.5 lengths. Draws a nice gate and has each-way claims.

(3) Assailant WIN

$2.70 (2 Units)
