PLAYUP REVIEW

PlayUp is the newest sportsbook in the Australian online betting scene. They recently launched a brand new website that is the result of merging popular Australian brands MadBookie, ClassicBet and TopBetta.

A range of sports markets are offered on the PlayUp website, with Australian Rules, Basketball, Cricket, Football and Rugby League the main sports markets for punters to access. PlayUp offers competitive odds and their use of graphics is definitely a positive. For example, if you are looking to place a bet on the Collingwood Magpies in an upcoming AFL match, the famous Collingwood colours appear in a professional-looking graphic, making it quicker to find the team you are looking to wager on.

All of the big football leagues, or soccer if that is your preferred term, appear with the English Premier League, Bundesliga and A-League being offered at PlayUp which will appeal to football fans around the world.

Navigation on the PlayUp website is easy with menus easy to read and not too much information appearing on any one page. The website itself is very neat and the colour scheme has been well-thought out with colours not clashing with one another.

When it comes to racing, PlayUp offers all three racing codes with horse racing, greyhounds and harness racing providing punters with both fixed and tote options.

All of the race meetings for the day are easy to find and punters can easily see if fixed odds are available for any race – a small triangle in the top left-hand side of an upcoming race will be used to indicate that fixed odds are available for that particular race. It is also a quick way to check race results with the first four runners appearing in the following format (2/4/6/7) – this indicates that number 2 won the race, 4 was second, 6 was third and 7 ran fourth.

Most bookmakers offer racing form and speed maps on their websites and PlayUp is no exception with a race overview, runner comments and speed maps being displayed for gallops. Speed maps are broken down into an early speed graph and on-settling graph which attempts to predict where horses will settle in the race.

PlayUp offers punters a “Price Bump” on Australian gallops races. Once you click on the Price Bump icon, the fixed win column will turn green to show what the price bump offer is for each horse. Instead of taking $2.70 for example, you could Price Bump to $2.90 fixed win odds.

PlayUp offers excellent deposit options and quality customer support if you need any assistance. PlayUp are here to stay and come highly recommended!
