We have a huge slate of NBA action on Saturday with 10 games scheduled to be played. Giannis taking on Luka in the Bucks vs Lakers match up looks a highlight at 2:30pm AEDT. The first games tip off at 11am AEDT and here are our three best bets for Saturday’s NBA action!

NBA Betting Tips: Saturday, January 10th 2026
Toronto Raptors at Boston Celtics (11:00am AEDT)
An Eastern conference match up between the Toronto Raptors (23-15) and the Boston Celtics (23-13). They are fourth and third respectively in the conference, although Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram are both questionable for the Raptors. If one or both misses, the road trip to Massachusetts will be so much harder.
The Celtics were beaten by the Denver Nuggets who are missing Nikola Jokic – it was a game to forget for Derrick White who shot 7-19 from the field. Jaylen Brown was good with 33 points in the loss. On the other side, the Raptors narrowly defeated the Charlotte Hornets 97-96 thanks to Immanuel Quickley’s game winner.
Boston are 8-2 in their last 10 games and the loss to the Nuggets may have just been a little blip on the radar. With the Raptors star players being questionable and not 100% if they do play, the Celtics could win this one comfortably – they won 112-96 on December 20 and also 121-113 on December 7.
Celtics -8.5

New York Knicks at Phoenix Suns (1:00pm AEDT)
A competitive match up between the New York Knicks (24-13) and the Phoenix Suns (22-15). The Suns are getting their usual production from franchise star Devin Booker who is averaging 25.4 points and 6.3 assists per game. In addition, Booker has been a lot better defensively through the first part of this season compared to last. The addition of Dillon Brooks has helped the Suns a lot, both defensively and offensively, with Brooks averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game.
The Knicks are one of the best offensive scoring teams in the league, averaging 119.7 points per game, which is fifth in the league. They are also effective from deep, ranking in the top four for three pointers made, and three-point percentage. Superstar guard Jalen Brunson will run the offense for New York, and his two-man game with Karl-Anthony Towns. Mitchell Robinson returned to the bench last game against the LA Clippers, which the Knicks won 123-111. This looks like the right move as it allows Towns to play the five – he can pick and pop, draining shots from range, and forcing opposing bigs to try and guard him on the perimeter.
Phoenix proved too good for the Memphis Grizzlies last game, winning 117-98 with the bench getting a good run. The starters should be well rested and the fact they are 12-5 at home is a good enough reason to be on them as the underdog with a +2.0 handicap.
Suns +2.0

Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Lakers (2:30pm AEDT)
The Milwaukee Bucks (16-21) travel to California to take on the Los Angeles Lakers (23-12) and we will see three of the biggest names in basketball. Giannis Antetokounmpo will be trying to do a lot of heavy lifting for the Bucks against Luka Doncic and LeBron James from the Lakers. The Bucks fell 120-113 against the Golden State Warriors in their last game despite 34 points and 10 rebounds from Giannis, while the Lakers were beaten 107-91 by the San Antonio Spurs.
Austin Reaves, the other big three member for the Lakers, remains out, while LeBron is a game-time decision along with Rui Hachimura. It most likely won’t be the offensive end where the Lakers need to play well, as Doncic is averaging 33.7 points and 8.8 assists per game. The team can often have defensive breakdowns, giving up the easiest of points. Another concern lately has been Deandre Ayton’s lack of effort under the rim – one instance saw head coach JJ Redick immediately bench the former number one pick.
All the Bucks starters were solid against the Warriors as AJ Green, Myles Turner, Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. all scored double figures. With the prospect of both LeBron and Hachimura returning, the Lakers should be able to cover the small line at home as they head towards the All-Star break with a strong record.
Lakers -3.0
