North Melbourne vs West Coast Prediction & Tips: 2025 AFL Round 13
Roos Xerri Ripe for 3rd Win of Season
The Roos have had a mixed bag over the last three weeks, recording a draw, win and a loss in their last three games. The draw was easily the most impressive of the three performances, as they went blow for blow with the reigning premier Brisbane Lions. They have been far more competitive over the last month, but still sit in 17th place on the ladder with a 2-8-1 record. They have a fantastic opportunity to distance themselves from wooden spoon contention here, with the potential to put 10 points between themselves and the Eagles.
Eagles Wings Clipped
The Eagles were flying high after snatching their first win of the season in Round 11 against the Saints at home. They have, however, gone on to lose their next two games to the Crows and Cats, both by significant margins. They were competitive for three quarters against the Cats, but the ability to run out full games isn’t quite there yet for West Coast. Scoring has been a struggle for the Eagles, currently averaging the 2nd fewest points per game, leading only the RIchmond Tigers.
Stress Free Week at the Selection Table
Both the Roos and Eagles will go into the clash with similar looking sides to last week, albeit without the foresight of knowing exactly how the extended benches will be cut down at this time. Griffin Logue will make his way back into the team for his first game since Round 6 in the only confirmed change for the Roos. On the other side of the field, Jamie Cripps has been slotted straight back into the Eagles line-up after missing the last two games.
Kangaroos or Eagles? Here’s our North Melbourne vs West Coast Tip
While results haven’t exactly gone consistently in their favour, both of these teams have been much more competitive over the last month than they were throughout the first quarter of the season. Because of that, I actually expect this to be a pretty good game. Even though it’s the Roos home game, the Eagles should have the support of the crowd here in Bunbury, which is just short of two hours south of Perth. I think this should be a closely contested match, and I’m struggling to separate the two teams, but I do like the look of the overs here. Perfect conditions in Bunbury with minimal wind should promote a high scoring game between the two teams ranked 16th and 18th in points allowed this year.

Has booted 3+ in four of those eight games and when he last faced the Eagles (Round 22 last season) he amassed a whopping seven scoring shots, kicking 3.4.

Kangaroos vs Eagles Same Game Multi
Oscar Allen 2+ Goals - The Eagles skipper was in shaky form throughout the early parts of the season, so much so that he was even swung into defence for periods in an attempt to mix it up. He has been back in the forward line for the last few weeks and has booted eight goals in his last three games.
Liam Baker 20+ Disposals - Had a little two week dry spell in Rounds 10 and 11 where he racked up just 18 disposals in each game, but apart from those two games, Baker has been flawless on the 20+ disposals market, hitting in all other 10 games.
Caleb Daniel 20+ Disposals - Similar vein of form to Baker here. Missed in Round 9 with 18 touches but has been perfect in the 20+ market throughout the rest of the season, hitting in all 10 games including racking up 30 last week against the Pies.
