Six horse racing meetings will be held across the country on Wednesday. We will be focusing on three of these meetings with tips for Randwick-Kensington, Sandown-Hillside and Belmont. Check out our best bets for the day below and good luck to everyone following along!

Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, July 29th 2026
Race 1: Robrick Lodge Handicap 1550m – 12:50pm AEST
(6) Crown Of Fire was a solid debut run, with her best work coming between the 800m to 200m mark, as she finished fourth, beaten 2.46 lengths. She will almost certainly settle in the latter half of the small field, but she should be able to settle before making one run at them late. She jumps up from 1200m to 1550m which is a sharp rise in distance, but it should be a suitable task.
(3) Artgirl is still a maiden after 11 starts, placing on eight occasions. She has been runner up at the past two and they have added blinkers for the first time. With James McDonald riding from gate three, I’d expect a sharp run from the filly and she will go close to getting that elusive first win.
(2) Claudel has been the bridesmaid in all four career runs, although she hasn’t finished within a length of the winner on any of those occasions. She can certainly win but may find one too good once again.
(6) Crown Of Fire WIN
$3.90 (1.5 Units)
Sandown-Hillside Racing Tips: Wednesday, July 29th 2026
Race 6: Evergreen Turf Handicap 1600m – 3:20pm AEST
(3) Missapprehend is racing well this preparation with a second and third placing to kickstart the campaign. She was three-wide at Flemington and battled on gamely to finish 1.35 lengths away from the winner. That was a stronger race than this and she looks hard to beat here. If she can settle just behind the leaders with cover, expect her to be hard to hold out.
(8) Licentious was a winner first-up from a spell before running fifth in the same race as Missapprehend. Based on both runs this prep, she has each-way claims here.
(1) Censori will carry the topweight of 59kg in the race and she is a last start winner on the Lakeside circuit, winning by 3.25 lengths at big odds of $16. The track was really heavy which appears to have suited – it won’t be as wet this time around.
(3) Missapprehend WIN
$2.40 (3 Units)
Belmont Racing Tips: Wednesday, July 29th 2026
Race 6: Peters Investments Handicap 1700m – 2:52pm (4:52pm AEST)
(2) Double The Fun has been racing well enough to be competitive in this Class 1 Handicap and the extra distance could bring about a change in fortune. From the inside draw, apprentice Cassey Martinan should be able to land a forward position with the gelding. If he runs up to his previous efforts, he should be competitive at nice odds.
(4) American Image is a filly that is racing well, winning her maiden and then chasing home Take A Leaf last start. The big change is Pike is back in the saddle and that’s a huge positive. He piloted her to a dominant victory as a short-priced favourite two runs back and will give her the best chance again.
(5) Conchetta’s Dream is deep into this prep without winning and connections will be hoping she can go one better. She was second in a Class 3 Handicap and that was a great effort.
(2) Double The Fun E/W
$8.50/$2.40 (1U/2U)
Race 7: Bisley Workwear Handicap 1000m – 3:28pm (5:28pm AEST)
(11) Mai Aloha has been knocking on the door with three-straight second placings. She may be able to box seat from the good barrier and Pike continues to ride the mare. This looks a great set up for her and she should be hard to hold out at the finish.
(10) Gold Flakes could be the leader here from gate two and the mare gets the services of Brad Parnham. She was runner up two runs back before finishing third at her most recent outing. This looks a more suitable assignment than both of those races.
(7) Ripper Rupert will likely need the run as he enters without a trial. Four starts back he won a Class 3 Handicap. Not entirely sure what to expect without the trial, but looks a horse to watch this prep. Let’s see what he produces first-up.
(11) Mai Aloha WIN
$2.60 (2.5 Units)
