Ladies Wimbledon Betting Tips
Quarter 1
Aryna Sabalenka’s overall level has been pretty solid in 2026, but to reach the end of June and have no grand slam to show for her efforts would certainly be disappointing. We see Sabalenka in the $2.25-2.75 range to win the quarter here, and I think that pricing is bang on given the quality of players in this part of the draw. I appreciate it is hard to entertain Sabalenka at the shorter price given she has lost deciding sets 0-6 twice in the last month as well. So…let’s look elsewhere in the section. At the bottom we have new grand slam winner Mirra Andreeva, who in my opinion doesn’t quite have the exposed form on the grass for me to entertain her heavily here as the second favourite in the market. With 5th-favourite Emma Raducanu under an injury cloud, and 3rd-favourite Naomi Osaka retiring from her match a couple of days ago in Bad Homburg, that brings me to Karolina Muchova, who comes in with confidence after winning Bad Homburg. She may be outgunned by some of the power players, but what she loses in raw power she makes up for with touch, variation and general tennis craft that should translate well to grass.
Quarter 2
I am well and truly in the Jessica Pegula camp for this fortnight. The American suffered a shock early loss at Roland Garros, but that may have been just what she needed to get ready and adjusted to the grass for what is a short season on the surface. She has some of the better lead-in form, she has a game that is so well suited to the surface, and she has shown that she can be more than competitive against the top names in Sabalenka and Rybakina across surfaces. For me, she is a more trustworthy prospect here than Coco Gauff at similar odds, as Coco has shown that she can still beat herself at times and has perhaps lost some of the confidence in her game that has made her one of the top players on tour. Pegula is the one for me.
Quarter 3
The defending champion Iga Swiatek dominates this quarter in the betting, however her form in 2026 across surfaces, including the grass, leaves a little to be desired in my opinion. In terms of the betting market, this may have the most even top-12 in the market, with anyone capable of beating anyone on their day. Given it is such a short grass season, I am happy to lean into a player that has some pretty solid grass form both this season and years gone by in Donna Vekic. She is $17 to win the quarter at Ladbrokes, and being longer than Serena Williams, who has not played since 2022 on a singles court, seems excessive to me. There is some uncertainty in this section given both Williams and the overall evenness of the draw, so I would tread lightly. Vekic has the serve, flatter ball-striking and grass-court pedigree to take advantage if this quarter becomes as chaotic as the market suggests.
Quarter 4
Where Quarter 3 has a very even top 12 in the market, Quarter 4 is absolutely stacked in terms of top four hopefuls. We have number 2 seed and former champion Elena Rybakina, Eastbourne champ Madison Keys, last year’s finalist Amanda Anisimova, and Berlin champion Linda Noskova all firm in the market, with the rest of the field double figures or longer. On the form of everyone in this section, that feels well and truly justified. I think Noskova perhaps deserves to be a little closer to the other in the market on form, so I will look there, albeit for a small stake.
