Bendigo Racing Tips: Wednesday, August 12th 2026

Race 2: Sandhurst Stockfeeds Maiden Plate 1000m - 1:35pm (AEST)

(3) I Am Aria from the Michael Walker yard looks a very strong chance in this after she handled herself impressively in strong Listed races at Caulfield earlier in the year. Michal Dee was on top when she debuted over the 1000m and from barrier 1 she led for 950m of the 1000m journey to end up losing by .75L (2nd). Then at her next start Craig Williams was on and they tried the same tactics over 1100 in the Group 2 Prelude and again she led for most of the race before finishing 3rd. They pressed on to the Group 1 Blue Diamond after that and she was 15th at 50-1. She was turned out for a few months but has come back well and trialled a 1st and 2nd in recent times with Willow and Dee on. Dee will take the ride here and you would think the pair try and lead again in what is a significant class drop.

(3) I Am Aria - WIN

$2.10 (3 units)

Race 3: Ladrokes Owners Promotion Maiden Plate 1600m - 2:10pm (AEST)

(7) Rockzino has drawn nicely in barrier 2 and Jordan Childs should be able to position the mare up comfortably in around midfield. The Tarzino/Rocks For me horse showed ability when on debut at this track on July 30 (3rd) and the extra 300m here looks like it should suit. She ran on strongly down the long Bendigo straight and she did draw a little wide that day in 9. Will be better for the experience and this assignment is easier.

(4) Bellabama looks the only danger.

(7) Rockzino - WIN

$2.00 (3 units)

Eagle Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, August 12th 2026

Race 7: Xxxx Gold Class 3 Plate 1000m - 4:06pm (AEST)

(6) Biancelli is third up here and this is the best of races so he should be in the finish. He is a Saturday class horse and with James Orman on he should be able to get back to that consistency he showed earlier in his career. He trialled well at Doomben two weeks ago and he only had a short spell really so he should have some fitness in his legs. He loves the 1000m journey and won well in Melbourne albeit 2 years ago at the end of the Spring Carnival. He is lightly raced and must have had some injuries last season and with the lack of pace in this race he could go straight to the front and lead all of the way.

(4) Gram from the Gollan yard is the danger and he will likely sit behind the leader. Up in class though.

(6) Biancelli - WIN

$2.20 (3 units)

Race 8: Ladbrokes Switch Class 6 Handicap 1000m - 4:41pm (AEST)

(6) Esha is very quick and although she failed in Melbourne at the start of the year she is having her second run this prep in her home state and she should be on the up again. She was only beaten a half a length when 4th at Eagle Farm last start and she had the same barrier (1) as she gets here so she will either lead or settle behind the leader. When she was second up last campaign it was a 9th at Caulfield in a much stronger race than this (Group 3). Reports suggest she is flying and  is having a couple of tune up races leading into the Spring and connections will want another win next to her name before she tackles harder races in a few weeks. She hasn’t won in more than a year but back to a Class 6 race here, she does look to be 3 to 4L quicker than these.

(1) Moonhaven goes well on Soft and Heavy tracks and will be fighting for the lead with the favourite. Does have to carry an extra 2.5kg then Esha though.

(6) Esha - WIN

$1.70 (4 units)
