Just the two games for us this Sunday as AFL Round 13 is spread over the five days of the long weekend. We do have to wait until 3:20pm AEST on Sunday for the Kangaroos and Eagles to get underway - it’s a blockbuster 17th vs 18th contest, which is perhaps fittingly being played way, way, way out west at Hands Oval in Bunbury. Fortunately, things get a little more exciting in the evening as Blues and Bombers fill the MCG in what should be an entertaining battle if the rain stays away.
As always, this is all about the daily fantasy and this Sunday slate draws another massive $50,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest, as well as qualifiers for the $1 million AFL Star contest. In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:
AFL $50,000+ Sunday at Draftstars
AFL $5,000+ Sunday High Roller ($150 Entry) at Draftstars
AFL $3,000+ Sunday Mini ($2 Entry) at Draftstars

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 13 Sunday
AFL Round 13 Sunday: Where to Attack?
There’s plenty of holes in these four teams that you can use to attack this slate!
As the 17th and 18th placed teams, you’d expect the Roos and Eagles to be exploitable although this is nullified a little when they are up against each other!
Both the Roos and Eagles concede huge points to the opposition key forwards - they are the two worst sides in the league for this. Which forward line can get on top of the pretty weak defensive units?
Look to Tristan Xerri if you can fit him in your lineup, as West Coast are easily the league worst for conceding points to opposition ruckmen.
The Blues haven’t been too bad in terms of conceding fantasy points this season, but the Bombers have a couple of weaknesses.
With old Todd Goldstein plodding around in the ruck, you can look to Tom De Koning to get on top for Blues as the Bombers have been conceding above average fantasy points in the ruck recently.
However the biggest area to exploit the Bombers is in the backline to the designated kicker where they are one of the worst in the league.
Game Script: Roos/Eagles key forwards, Roos/Blues ruck, Blues defensive kickers
AFL Round 13 Sunday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Tyler Brockman ($6,880) isn’t a bad option if you’re looking for a bit of value on this slate. Brockman has been getting roughly 30% of the CBA’s at West Coast over the past month or so, which has seen him return five scores in a row above 52 with a high of 67 in that time. That’s pretty good at this price point, and with a match up against the lowly Roos, Brockman has a good role to at least match those numbers here.
Oscar Allan ($8,800) / Nick Larkey ($8,700) are both in play depending on what game script you want to go with. Allan has returned to some of his best form which, funnily enough, coincides with him returning to the forward line. Comes up against the Roos who have struggled to contain forwards all season, and his recent form suggests he can kick a bag and score well.
If you like the Roos to win, then Larkey is in play at the same price point against a weak opposition. However Larkey hasn’t kicked more than two goals in a game since Round 3, so let’s just say, he’s due!
AFL Round 13 Sunday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Sam Docherty ($11,980) has had a bit of a stop/start season after spending some time in the VFL. However he still has a couple of good 100+ scores this season, including a 112 last week which is a great number at this price point. Should be a good matchup for Docherty against the Dons and we know he has a great ceiling.
Sam Walsh ($13,850) is a premium midfielder who we’re getting at a mid-price here on this slate. His recent form has meant he hasn’t reached a ton in his last six matches, so his price has come down, but his ability and class is far superior to that form, as evident by his 137 earlier in the year against the Pies. If the ball is on the ground in the wet, then it should suit Walsh.
AFL Round 13 Sunday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Will Setterfield ($14,330) / Jye Caldwell ($15,060) are both worth considering if conditions are wet. Both are very good inside midfielders who will enjoy plenty of stoppages and lots of tackles. The only concern with the Bombers midfield is the inclusion of Darcy Parish ($12,940) for his first game which is sure to disrupt the CBAs. I think it will affect some of the others ahead of Setterfield and Caldwell, so you could look to pair them up and attack with the Bombers.
Tristan Xerri ($17,670) might be priced out of this one unless you can find some good value picks on this slate. He has the dream match up against Matt Flynn and the West Coast Eagles where he should be able to monster his opposition. Had five big tons in a row, including a 155, before he was nullified last week by Darcy Cameron. Hopefully plenty of stoppages and a big bounce back game from X today.
