BIG vs Spirit
ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe
BIG and Spirit last clashed way back in June during the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe Qualifier where BIG crushed Spirit with 16-7 on Inferno and 16-1 on Nuke to lock in a perfect 2-0 sweep. The main actor in BIG's win that day was Florian "syrsoN" Rische who ended the series with 43 frags and 1.90 HLTV rating.
His teammates Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş did not look too shabby either with 1.56 and 1.46 HLTV rating respectively. On the side of Spirit, all five players severely underperformed, seeing how their best player (Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev) managed only 25 frags and 0.73 HLTV rating.
So far this tournament, BIG lost only two games against Natus Vincere and Heroic, but did not show any struggles in their triumphs over AGO, OG, G2, GODSENT and ENCE, so they should be heading into this match in good spirits.
While I am a huge fan of Spirit and their playstyle, they tend to struggle when faced against strategically sound squads such as Astralis and Complexity, which leads me to believe they are not in a good spot to defeat BIG. Even though this match should be much closer than their previous meeting, BIG should be more than capable to close out this game in two maps. Bet on BIG to win 2-0!
Natus Vincere vs mousesports
ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe
Natus Vincere are on a five-game winning streak at the ESL Pro League, where they picked up wins against G2, Heroic, OG, AGO and BIG, so it's more than fair to say NaVi are in great form. So far this tournament, NaVi lost only to ENCE but even that match was extremely close, and we must also mention that ENCE are currently on the rise, so we must give NaVi some slack for that loss.
Mousesports, on the other side, have recently lost their star AWPer Özgür "woxic" Eker, who left to play for Cloud9. Mouz were also forced to suspend their head coach Allan "Rejin" Petersen after he was found guilty of exploiting the coach bug so they’re in quite a difficult situation.
Despite all the issues mouz were dealing with, they managed to find some relative stability by acquiring ex-FaZe youngster Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras as a replacement for woxic. Since the roster changes, mousesports' results have been all over the place, seeing how they lost twice to Endpoint, but still managed to win four games in EPL against the likes of Vitality, Complexity, fnatic and Faze which are all very solid results.
The betting odds heavily favour NaVi and I don't see a problem here, but I would not underestimate mousesports, who can easily take at least one map off NaVi. Since the odds for +1.5 map handicap are quite low, the best bet for this match is to take the over 2.5 maps!
Complexity vs Esports ENCE
ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe
Complexity have lost only two matches at ESL Pro League against FaZe and mousesports, while they managed to convincingly defeat the likes of Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Spirits, Fnatic and Vitality. Those are all phenomenal results, but the recent roster changes in Complexity have left this team in shambles and I don't see how they will manage to continue playing at the same pace.
Complexity's star Owen "oBo" Schlatter has decided to step down from their active roster last week in a bid to continue his career in the North American scene. Because of oBo's controversial departure, Complexity were forced to play two matches with coach Jamie "keita" Hall and (unsurprisingly) lost both of them against sAw and SJ.
For their match against ENCE, Complexity are expected to play with Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen from Nordavind which is obviously not ideal, but at least somewhat better than playing with a coach.
ENCE, on the other end, won four of their ESL Pro League matches against G2, Heroic, Natus Vincere and AGO, but lost against BIG, OG and GODSENT - all with 1-2 score line. Even though ENCE's record is not perfect, this team is on the rise and if they continue on this path, the future looks very bright for the Finns.
Complexity are still a solid team, but the recent roster moves have left them in quite a pickle and I don't see how they will manage to compete against the surging ENCE. Bet on ENCE to win 2-0!
