ESports Betting Tips: Tuesday, September 21st
AGO vs Dignitas
Elisa Invitational Fall 2021
The last time these two teams met was about five months ago at the Flashpoint 3 Closed Qualifier, where Dignitas won 2-0, with 16-8 on Vertigo and 16-6 on Nuke.
Jonas 'Lekr0' Olofsson had one hell of a game, ending the series with 39 frags and 1.47 HLTV rating, while Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg and Adam 'friberg' Friberg weren't far behind, both with 40 frags. On the side of AGO, there was not one player who stood out, as none came even close to a 1.00 HLTV rating.
Both teams seem to be in solid form, but the value should be with AGO, regardless of their defeat in April. Dignitas might have some big-name players, and I believe this is the only reason why they are priced so low.
Fielding big-name players is great, but Dignitas' stars haven't achieved much for a very long time and are overrated purely due to the success they had achieved years back. I am also not concerned with AGO's negative H2H against Dignitas, as these online matches mean very little. Bet on AGO to win!
SKADE vs Anonymo
ESEA Premier Season 38 Europe
SKADE and Anonymo last met last week at the IEM Fall 2021 Europe Closed Qualifier, where SKADE where SKADE bounced back from being a map down to win the match 2-1, with 13-16 on Vertigo, 16-7 on Inferno and 16-8 on Ancient.
Denislav 'dennyslaw' Dimitrov had an amazing game, ending with 70 frags and 1.42 HLTV rating, while on the side of Anonymo, it was the old Virtus.pro legend Janusz 'Snax' Pogorzelski who walked away from the match with 65 frags and 1.18 HLTV rating. Unfortunately, none of his teammates stepped up, and all ended the game with below-average ratings.
The last three H2H matches between these two teams all ended 2-1 in favour of SKADE. In all three, Anonymo took the first map but constantly failed to capitalise on the advantage.
There is no doubt that SKADE are the better team here, but at the offered odds, Anonymo are worth look. They have taken a map of SKADE in their last three encounters, and since the online era of CS:GO is fairly favourable to weird results, I'm ready to take a shot with the outsiders. Bet on Anonymo to take a map!
Lyngby Vikings vs 777 Esports
Elisa Invitationl Fall 2021
These two teams met about four months ago at the Spring Sweet Spring 2 Regionals, where Lyngby Viking won 2-1. 777 Esports started the series strong with a 16-14 win on Mirage but then allowed Lyngby Viking to bounce with wins on Vertigo (16-9) and Dust2 (16-12) to steal the series.
Rasmus 'raalz' Steensborg was their best player on his team that day with 65 frags and a 1.12 HLTV rating. Still, his performances couldn't compare to Mikael 'mikki' Gaup, whose's back must have hurt after the game as he was doing all the heavy lifting for the Norwegian side, ending the match with 68 frags and a 1.21 HLTV rating.
I see no fundamental quality differences between these two teams. Vikings and 777 are both tier 3 teams, and if there is one thing we know about these low-tier matches is that anything can happen. Take the plus money on 777!
Endpoint vs GamerLegion
ESEA Premier Season 38 Europe
This preview will be short since there is not much that goes into explaining my pick.
Endpoint are the favourites which makes completely no sense. That is mainly because they have recently lost their best player, William 'mezii' Merriman, to Fnatic.
What's more, Endpoint already lost their last meeting with GamerLegion (0-2) in June, with a stronger roster than what they have now. These two teams look fairly evenly matched on paper, and I expect a close series; however, with mezii out of the team, GamerLegion should be capable of grabbing the W. Take GamerLegion to defeat Endpoint!
