Esports Betting Tips: CS:GO and Dota2 – Sunday, April 19th
Evil Geniuses vs CR4ZY
DOTA2 BTS Pro Series: Americana
CR4ZY are flying high after picking up three victories in the opening three games of BTS Pro Series: Americana, where the ex-Fighting PandaS squad took down Cloud9 (2-1), Thunder Predator (2-1) and business associates (2-1). Now, however, they are set to meet their toughest test yet, as they are scheduled to lock horns with Evil Geniuses this Sunday for the second time this year.
Unlike CR4ZY, who cruised through their opening fixtures, Evil Geniuses slipped twice and lost to Cloud9 (1-2) and Qunicy Crew (0-2). Although EG defeated Thunder Predator (2-1), beastcoast (2-0) and FURIA (2-0), they're obviously not in the best shape, which won't do them any favours against CR4ZY, who already defeated them once before in December. Although this match seems like a very one-sided on the paper, online games are usually much closer than those played on LAN, which suggests CR4ZY should be competitive enough to pick up at least one map against the struggling EG. What's more, EG will continue to play with two stand-in players in Eric "Ryoya" Dong and Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale, who are clearly a downgrade to Azel L. “Abed” Yusop and Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev.
Team CR vs Reality Rift
DOTA2 BTS Pro Series: SEA
Team CR will be chasing their first victory of the tournament this Sunday when they face off against the unpredictable Reality Rift, who can’t afford another slip up following their shaky displays in the opening fixtures.
So far this tournament, Reality Rift defeated BOOM Esports (2-0), and T1 (2-1), but fell flat against Fnatic (0-2), Adroit (0-2) and TNC Predator (0-2). Clearly Reality Rift are not in the best form of their lives, but there is no reason to believe they are in any way shape or form as bad as their next opponents. Team CR are objectively the weakest team of the tournament and their 0-5 series and 1-10 map record would make it hard to believe otherwise. Although the Sunday bout will indeed be, in theory, their best chance to pick up a W, we would not count on it.
There is no denying Reality Rift failed to live up to the expectations but they are still one of the strongest SEA team outside of Fnatic, Adroit and TNC Predator. Additionally, this will be a must-win match for them as another slip-up could mean they will not be finishing in the top-six. Side Reality Rift to pick up a crucial win against CR.

Ground Zero vs Rooster
CS:GO DreamHack Master Sping 2020 Oceania Closed Qualifier
These two teams should know each other quite well as they have already met six times in 2020 and played a total of 14 maps. Out of their six meetings, Ground Zero picked up seven maps, while Rooster won the remaining six. Their most recent meeting came at ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 20 where we saw Ground Zero edge out a win. GrounD zero took the series lead with 16-14 on Mirage, fell flat on Dust II (11-16), but successfully sealed the series with a dominant performance on Inferno (16-12).Ground Zero are entering this match with a three-game winning streak, which includes wins over Rooster, Heatless and Airborne, while Rooster picked up wins against I sleep and VERTEX (twice).
Because these two sides play most of their matches within their region, meaning they tend to meet quite frequently, we can safely assume they know each other's playstyle well, so I don't expect to see any team having any tactical advantage. For that reason, these games can easily go both ways, as they usually get decided solely because one of two players on a team "pop off". From a betting perspective, this makes Ground Zero a good value bet at these odds.
