Esports Betting Tips: Saturday, May 2nd
HellRaisers vs VP.Prodigy
DOTA2 WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1
HellRaisers have been a force to be reckoned with throughout WePlay! Pushka League, winning all four of the fixtures they played and I don't see them stopping anytime soon, especially not against the team like VP.Prodigy. That is, however, not to say HR will have an easy time here, as VP.Prodigy are not as weak as they are portrayed to be. Also, I don't believe HellRaisers will take this match too seriously as they have already earned their spot in the playoffs, so the only reasonable thing to expect here is a close match that will go into three series. We might even see VP.Prodigy shock everyone and pick up a win, but I would not count on it before I see more from them.
OG vs OG.Seed
DOTA2 WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1
Giving a prediction of match between two teams where one is an academy team of the other is never easy. Obviously, the organisation wants its main roster to succeed, especially after their shockingly bad performance against Liquid yesterday. Although OG are significantly stronger compared to OG.Seed on paper, it seems to me like this match will be closer than expected. OG.Seed won at least one map in three out of four matches played, which is kind of a weird flex, but still something to take note of.
Bookmakers are offering close to 2.00 odds on OG.Seed to win at least one map, which is in my eyes way too high. OG had disappointed me in their match against Alliance, Team Secret and Liquid, where they showed too many weaknesses and if there is one team to exploit those mistakes it's OG.Seed, especially if we consider their players will look to prove themselves and maybe even get a spot in the main roster, which has been playing with stand-in players for quite a while now.
Gambit Youngsters vs Team Unique
CS:GO ESL One: Road to Rio - CIS
I am not going to pretend that either of these two teams are any good, but that doesn’t mean we will be looking at a boring match. Gambit Youngster lost against the likes of SKADE, CPH Flames and Spirits, which is not really something to write home about. But they're at least an academy team with proper financial backing, whereas Team Unique doesn't have that. Not only do Unique lack in any serious help from other more successful teams, they're also in much worse shape than Gambit Youngsters, seeing how they lost against teams that you or I have never heard of.
The only thing that is unique about Team Unique is that they are the only team that got 16-0ed in their first match. With all due respect, the young stars like sh1ro and Ax1Le, the academy players of Gambit are going to have a field day against a team that can't even win one round in an online match! Gambit Youngsters 2-0!

Nemiga vs Winstrike
CS:GO ESL One: Road to Rio – CIS
Nemiga are a decent team with very solid players, who can, in theory, defeat any team they meet at ESL One: Road to Rio - CIS, as seen in their match with forZe, so I don't understand how and why they are priced as high as they are right now. Both sides won all of their last five matches, so we can say Nemiga and Winstrike are both in great form, but since speed2k, showed up big time in his previous match I have to side with Nemiga to win here again. Winstrike are still favourites and If they can somehow manage to slow down speed2k they might come out on top, but speed2k looked exceptionally well against forZe and I expect the young AWPer to continue with another stellar performance. At these odds, it should be a crime to not bet on Nemiga.
