Misfits Premier vs Karmine Corp
LFL 2021 Championship Finals
The back-to-back European Masters (EUM) champions, Karmine Corp will face off against Misfits Premier on Monday in the grand finals of LFL 2021 Championship Finals. PickleBet took notice of Karmine Corp’s dominance on the European stage and have accordingly priced them as $1.57 favourites, which would make a lot of sense if we didn’t know that Misfits Premier beat them 3-1 in the LFL Summer 2021 finals.
Misfits Premier and Karmine Corp are two of the strongest teams in the league and fierce rivals who never fail to produce exciting and close affairs. Even though we have to acknowledge Karmine Corp as the better team due to their success at EUM 2021 Summer, their international success won’t necessarily translate to domestic competitions. These two teams know each other very well, so neither will manage to surprise the other with some unusual strategies. Individually, Misfits and Kamine Corp seem equally matched, and there isn’t a lot to separate them based on the head-to-head record. Misfits won against KC in the LFL Summer 2021 – Finals but lost the previous two BO1 games during the summer season. Still, KC have beaten Misfits in LFL Spring 2021 – Finals and twice during the spring split.
I can imagine the series to reach five maps, but KC have momentum on their side, so a 3-1 victory for the reigning EUM champions isn’t out of the question. Both are solid bets, but based on what KC have shown this season, I have to favour them with a 1.5 map handicap.

Young Ninjas vs Natus Vincere Junior
WePlay Academy League Season 2
Young Ninjas and Natus Vincere Junior will meet in the Group A grand finals at WePlay Academy League Season 2. These two academy CS:GO teams last met in Group A Winner’s Match on Thursday, when Young Ninjas edged out a 2-1 victory, with 16-133 on Mirage, 13-16 on Inferno, and 16-5 on Vertigo. Young Ninjas were the better team that day but had a few map one rounds gone the other way, Natus Vincere would had won with 2-0. Even though NaVi lost, it’s still fair to give them some credit for showing up on the first two maps and I wouldn’t overreact to their heavy defeat on Vertigo since the Ukrainian squad isn’t very efficient on that map (40% win rate).
Regardless, NaVi Jr. still field excellent players, including Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who has been the star player of WePlay Academy League Season 1 and is yet again one of the best-performing players in the tournament. The 16-year-old has averaged a 1.47 rating from seven maps, the second-highest figure at the WePlay Academy League, behind only mouz NXT’s Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás. With a player like that on the team, NaVI have a clear win condition, while Young Ninjas will have their hands full trying to stop him. Last time out, Young Ninjas have managed to do so, but it was mostly due to m0NESY having an off day.

Izako Boars vs Team Singularity
REPUBLEAGUE Season 2
Izako Boars and Team Singularity have never met before, and they’re both in shaky form, which promises an exciting and close fixture on Monday. Izako Boars have won only two of their last six games (2-4), while Singularity have managed one more (3-3). One win doesn’t mean a lot considering the quality of the teams Singularity had to face, so it’s fair to say that both Izako Boars and Singularity are not in the best shape heading into this game.
There are also no differences between the two and their map pool. Both teams like to play on Dust 2, where they hold a 67% win rate, and they both like Nuke, where Singularity have won 67% of their games, while Izako Boars won only 56%. However, Izako Boars have played three times as many games on Nuke as Singularity. The biggest win rate difference comes on Vertigo, where Izako Boars hold a 67% win rate. Meanwhile, Team Singularity have played only one map on Vertigo, which they lost.
This is a coin-flip match, with no clear favourite. Value is with Team Singularity!
