ORDER vs Chiefs Esports Club
ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 13
ORDER and Chiefs Esports Club both enter this fixture in great form. ORDER are undefeated in their last three, while Chiefs Esports Club haven’t lost a game once across their last five outings. While a respectable record, ORDER and Chiefs are competing in a region that isn’t very strong.
Comparing the two, Chiefs have achieved more of late, with wins against Rooster (2-0, 2-0), FURY (16-11, 2-0), and VERTEX (16-7), while ORDER have only won against Caught off Guard (16-4, 2-0) and Kanga (16-7). Despite that, I don’t believe there is a lot to set these two sides apart.
This is an online BO1 match, which is a situation that is arguably as close to a coin toss as we can get. Even though ORDER are stronger and should win, Chiefs looked solid enough for me to believe that they will keep this one close.

Dire Wolves vs Paradox Esports
ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 13
Like the match between ORDER and Chiefs Esports Club, this one is a clash between two very similarly skilled teams. Neither is good enough to compete internationally, but they are still two of the best teams in the Oceanic region.
Paradox Esports and Dire Wolves last met at the start of August in LPL Pro League Season 8, when Dire Wolves won 3-1. Paradox started the series strong and claimed Overpass with 16-13, but then lost on Dust 2 (9-16), Inferno (7-16), and Vertigo (14-16).
Even though Dire Wolves won convincingly, the game could have ended differently had a few rounds ended in Paradox’s favour, so I wouldn’t say that Dire Wolves are as strong as the betting odds imply.
Dire Wolves are on a seven-game winning streak, indicating that they’re in great form. Meanwhile, Paradox are on a three-game winning streak and 5-1 in their last six, so it’s not like they’re struggling with their form.
Dire Wolves should win, but I expect this to be a much closer match than what the offered odds suggest. Paradox Esports should reach at least double digits and force a 26-round map.
VERTEX Esports Club vs Ground Zero
ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 13
VERTEX Esports Club are 3-0 up in the H2H with Ground Zero; however, these two teams have not met once since June, when VERTEX won with 16-13 on Inferno and Mirage. Regardless of what their previous success against Ground Zero would suggest, I can say I prefer one team over the other.
If we compare the individual talent on VERTEX to Ground Zero, there isn’t a lot to set them apart. You also wouldn’t be able to say which of the two teams is better if you look at their recent results, seeing how they are 2-2 in their last four outings.
Ground Zero lost against Dire Wolves (6-16) and Paradox (1-2) and won against Lese (2-1) and Warriors (16-9). VERTEX lost against Renegades (0-3) and Chiefs Esports Club (7-16) but won against Exsto (16-4) and Bandits (2-0).
If I had to pick a side, I would trust VERTEX, but I wouldn’t bet on them at 1.39. They should win, but I expect a cagey affair that should see both teams reach double digits. Last time out, VERTEX won with 16-13, and I expect something similar on Tuesday.
