Warriors vs Sea Eagles Predictions & Tips: NRL Round 27 2026

In prime position

The Warriors captured a spirited 46-32 home victory over the Knights, aided by playing against 12 players for majority of the contest. The win has them on the cusp of capturing the Minor Premiership also, aiding the time they will spend at home prior to the Grand Final, should they make it. Positives in the performance were the 10.1m averaged per carry, 600 PCM’s, and 8 line breaks. They will need to improve upon their 11 line breaks conceded and 37 missed tackles, as conceding 32 points will not set them up for success in the Finals. Scoring 46 points with their 6 halves pairing this season, is an accomplishment they can be proud of.

Powering home but now wasted

It was a spirited 44-10 home victory over the Dragons which gave the Sea Eagles hope they could scrape into the Finals. With results going against them, that is now an afterthought, as this week will be their last of the 2026 season. That aside, they were good when it mattered in this contest. With 59% possession, they completed at 80%, ran for 9.7m per carry, and creating 8 line breaks. Strong in the middle, a great platform was set up for their outside backs to excel. This should be a focus of their team ahead of the 2027 preseason.

Stats that matter

- It’s surprising that the Sea Eagles have a 59% record at this ground considering the home team has won 6 of the past 7 games between these two sides. The Warriors win 57% of games here.

- There has been one draw in the past 5 meetings between these two sides, with the average margin of victory sitting at 8.4 points. The average total points scored in the same games is 46.8 points.

- It is no surprise that the Warriors are superior on both sides of the ball in 2026. They score 30ppg in attack and concede just 16ppg defensively. The Sea Eagles score 25ppg in attack but allow 21ppg defensively.

The quality remains

Despite choosing to rest several players, the quality of the Warriors remains. On top of playing at home, they should have the strike power to cope with what the Sea Eagles throw at them. The visitors are a capable team and, with growing confidence after their performance last week, should be competitive for majority of this contest. This brings the line into contention for a selection. The Warriors will be tough but may lack an edge to their attack without Egan controlling the speed of the ruck.

Unchanged, the Sea Eagles will want to finish their 2026 on a positive and carry that momentum into their preseason. There is no better way to achieve that than with a strong performance here. Capable enough, this bet doesn’t mean that they will win the match. The Warriors have plenty to play for but perhaps, with a top 2 spot locked up, may not have the same intensity as previous weeks.

Leg 1 = Total points over 49.5 – see above for justification.

Leg 2 = Khan-Pereira to score – he has a great record against the Sea Eagles, scoring 7 tries in his past 4 games against them. Khan-Pereira has also scored in 3 of his past 5 games at home, with a total of 4 tries accumulated.

Leg 3 = Harris-Tavita to score – returning from injury, CHT will want to hit form at the right time of the season. Having scored in all 5 of his past NRL games prior to his omission, he will again be key to the success of his team.

Scooby's strength is assessing the overall team - what they offer across the field in a match and how the ethos of a club contributes to their success. Momentum also has a major impact on sports, and Scooby likes to explore this, while underpinning his judgement against a solid basis of statistical analysis. When combined with the aforementioned points, it combines for a holistic approach towards betting on rugby league.

Other sports he enjoys include Cricket, Horse Racing and NFL. There is a reason why Scooby ‘clicked’ with BYB from Day 1 - he loves his sport as much as we do.
