There are probably one or two safer bets on the card but the odds aren't worth shouting about so we'll go with this horse who currently sits at $4.40. She faces a pretty shallow maiden here and her debut run at Cranbourne was pretty good to run 2nd at big odds. Draws well in barrier 3 here and can give this a good shake.

Best Value: Race 8 - Time To Sail

Broke through for a maiden win last start and although it is difficult to win straight out of maiden grade she has been running as if the step up in distance here will suit so with the good barrier she can go close at $7. Good luck to Drew from The Profits who is a part owner!

Won its only trial in Canberra in pretty good style and comes here on debut for a strong stable and noticeable jockey booking. Drawn well and looks very hard to beat in this field.

Best Value: Race 1 - Brainstorm

There's an odds on favourite here but that horse has proved costly in its last few starts (not aided by great rides to be fair). If that horse strikes trouble again it could be this horse at double figure odds that wins. Ran a nice race on debut over 1000m and finished off well. Step up to 1200m looks helpful and from the good barrier should get a nice run. Looks over the odds at $11.
