PGA Tour RBC Canadian Open Betting Tips
TPC Toronto, Thursday 11 - Sunday 14 June
The Field
Four players ranked inside the world's top 10 make the trip to Toronto, led by Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa. Morikawa returns to the RBC Canadian Open for the first time since 2019, while Rose arrives fresh off another strong season that has included multiple victories and consistent major championship performances.
Recent PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai also returns to action after a solid showing at the Memorial Tournament. Brooks Koepka will tee it up in Canada for the first time since 2019, while former champions Ryan Fox and Robert MacIntyre add further depth to a field loaded with proven winners.
The home crowd will have plenty of players to support. Sudarshan Yellamaraju enters as the highest-ranked Canadian in the FedExCup standings, while Corey Conners, Taylor Pendrith, Mackenzie Hughes and Adam Hadwin will all be looking to follow in the footsteps of Nick Taylor and deliver another memorable Canadian victory.
The Course
TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley's North Course returns as host after making a successful debut in 2025. The layout underwent a significant renovation ahead of its introduction to the PGA TOUR schedule and was specifically designed to place a premium on elite approach play and strategic positioning.
Playing as a par 70 at 7,389 yards, the course features carefully positioned bunkering, challenging green complexes and several risk-reward opportunities. Players who consistently control their ball into the greens should separate themselves over the course of four rounds.
Last year's championship delivered plenty of drama as Ryan Fox defeated Sam Burns in a playoff after both players finished regulation at 18-under par. With a year of course knowledge now in the bank for returning players, expect scoring to remain strong, but precision will still be the defining factor.
Top Picks
Tommy Fleetwood
Forever the fall guy and footnote when Nick Taylor became a national hero in 2023, the Englishman could only smile in disbelief after that unforgettable playoff finish. Now the reigning FedExCup champion arrives in Canada playing some of the best golf of his career, with top-five finishes in two of his last three starts and a game that looks perfectly suited to TPC Toronto.
Wyndham Clark
Clark's dramatic improvement on the greens has transformed his season. Once again putting with the confidence that carried him to major championship success, he has become one of the most dangerous players on TOUR over the past two months. The resurgence with the flat stick has unlocked every other part of his game and there are no signs of him slowing down anytime soon.
Value Picks
Zach Baucou
The rookie continues to prove that elite ball-striking combined with the patience and maturity of a 30-year-old newcomer can be a powerful combination. Bauchou has recorded seven top-25 finishes this season, including one top 10 and four straight top-25 results entering the week. His consistency makes him one of the most appealing value options in the field.
Jordan Smith
Smith looked poised for a breakthrough victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge before a difficult third round derailed his chances and eventually left him tied for 13th. The underlying numbers remain excellent, however, and the European rookie continues to establish himself as one of the best ball-strikers on TOUR. With four top-20 finishes already this season, another strong showing appears well within reach.
