Round 7 of the 2026 AFL Premiership Season will continue this Sunday another huge daily fantasy contest on offer from Draftstars with over $60,000 in guaranteed prize money in their main daily fantasy tournament.
This Sunday offers a fun three-game slate with the opening game at Marvel Stadium offering the best game stacking option on the slate. Despite it pitting two sides both sitting at 2-4 against eachother, St Kilda go in 40 point favourites against West Coast. The midday game at the Gabba is a genuine battle between two teams who would've went into the season with top four aspirations but are now sitting 3-3. That is, the reigning premiers Brisbane hosting Adelaide at the Gabba. Then we round out the day late Sunday afternoon game at Manuka Oval where GWS host North Melbourne in what shapes as a a great matchup and test for the young Kangaroos who have started the year with 4 wins and are sitting 5th. GWS have a dreadful record at the venue at 5-10, but welcome back Jesse Hogan, Brent Daniels, Aaron Cadman and Stephen Coniglio from injury. North get their own major boost with Tristan Xerri returning to the ruck after missing three games, alongside Finn O'Sullivan back from his jaw injury.

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round Seven – Sunday
AFL Fantasy Round Seven – Sunday: Where to Attack?
The most attractive game to attack is the first of the day with West Coast giving up above average points to inside midfielders this season (over 3 points per game above league average – the highest of the any team on this slate) and key forwards (also over 3 points per game above league average). To compound this, the Saints are 40 point favourites and do love to possess the football and rack up fantasy scores. If you are looking to attack this back the other way, the Saints have historically given up points to defenders and this year continue that trend conceding over 6 points per game to the designated kickers and over 5 points per game to general defenders.
The second game offers a good opportunity to load up on the Lions players if you are interested with Adelaide giving up signficaintly more fantasy points to start 2026 than they were last year. They are above average for points to general forwards, inside mdifielders and attacking half backs, all areas of the ground where the Lions love to rack up the footy with their short passing game.
Finally GWS and North Melbourne both look relatively stingy this season so might be a bit of a stay away, although games in Canberra can often lead to high fantasy scores.
Game Script – St Kilda midfielders and forwards, Brisbane wings / half backs
AFL Fantasy Round Seven – Sunday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Mattaes Phillipou ($8,720) is a genuine boom-or-bust value play this Sunday and one of the most exciting ceiling options on the slate at his price. The 21-year-old has quietly built his midfield role throughout 2026, attending 31% of St Kilda's centre bounces and his career-best performance of 26 disposals, five clearances and 10 score involvements earlier in his career showed exactly what he can produce when given that midfield freedom. West Coast have been giving up above average points to inside midfielders and forwards this season and Saints are heavy favourites. His last three scores of 41, 78 and 69 show the inconsistency that comes with a young player developing his role, but his previous scoring ceiling of 117-119 points tells you the upside is real.
James Tunstill ($6,000) is the minimum-price value inclusion that unlocks your roster this week. The Brisbane midfielder has posted 28, 66 and 59 in his last three games — that 66 and 59 in consecutive outings showing a reliable scoring floor well above his basement price — and at $6,000 he simply frees up salary cap to spend up on the premium plays that win contests. In a game where Brisbane are home favourites at the Gabba, Tunstill's accumulation role generates consistent low-end scoring that covers his price comfortably. Lock him in and spend the savings elsewhere.
AFL Fantasy Round Seven – Sunday: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Jaspa Fletcher ($12,800) is the standout mid-price play from Brisbane due to his role. The two-time premiership half-back flanker has continued on his form through 2026, posting 77, 66 and 97 in his last three games as he continues to build on the Grand Final masterclass of 29 disposals and eight marks that confirmed his status as one of the competition's best young defenders. He operates across half-back for Brisbane with exceptional running ability, penetrating kicking and intercept marking — exactly the skill set that generates scoring in his role — and Adelaide have been giving up nearly 10 points above league average to wings and half backs this season. In a Gabba game where Brisbane are expected to be competitive as home-ground favourites, Fletcher's rebound and transition role should generate consistent supply all afternoon.
Nicholas Madden ($10,020) has held GWS's primary ruck position since Gather Round and the highlight here is he is one of the few players that have the sole ruck position on this slate. The 22-year-old has been impressive since earning his spot over the experienced Kieren Briggs, highlighted by his 111-point debut performance in Gather Round — a score that showed exactly what he can produce. By the numbers, North Melbourne have been giving up nearly 11 points above league average to the ruck position, however this week they will see the return of Tristan Xerri which will make the matchup tougher. If you are not confident in the matchup, consider spending up to Rowan Marshall ($16,020) in the event that Tom De Koning is a late out.
AFL Fantasy Round Seven – Sunday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Sam Flanders ($14,750) has been one of St Kilda's most consistent performers in 2026, posting 99, 85 and 94 in his last three for an average of 93 points in a midfield role that generates contested ball, clearances and inside 50s. West Coast have been giving up over 3 points above average to inside midfielders, meaning Flanders' accumulation ceiling is firmly in the 100+ range. He's one of the top mid-price plays from St Kilda, and a good place to start your game stack.
Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera ($16,230) is the next in the line of Saints mids I will be locking in on this slate. The $2 million-a-year St Kilda superstar has seen up and down form depending whether he is tagged through 2026, posting 93, 139 and 99 in his last three games for an average of 110 points. The critical daily fantasy angle this week is straightforward: West Coast simply do not apply a tag. They have not attempted to suppress an opposition midfielder with defensive attention this season and in particular this week they are without Dev Robertson and Jack Graham, two of their harder midfielders that would like take a defensive role. NWM running completely free through the centre all afternoon at Marvel Stadium is a recipe for another 130+ performance.
