Round 10 of the 2026 AFL Premiership Season gets underway this Thursday night with another huge daily fantasy contest on offer from Draftstars with over $50,000 in guaranteed prize money in their main daily fantasy tournament.
We get underway this week with a grand final rematch between Brisbane and Geelong at the Gabba. Both clubs arrive at 6-3, in excellent form, and the stakes could not be higher at this point in the season as they each will look to solidify a top four position.
Brisbane will hope to welcome back premiership pair Jarrod Berry, while losing in-form forward turned half back Lincoln McCarthy to injury. It is Sir Doug Nicholls Round and the Lions will don their Indigenous guernsey in what promises to be a special night at the Gabba where Brisbane have won three of their four home games in 2026. Geelong arrive fresh off a 54-point demolition of Collingwood and have won four of their last five by margins of 40 points or more. Bailey Smith has been in career-best form, Gryan Miers is set to return from his ACL recovery after an impressive VFL outing last week, while Mark Blicavs is a fitness test after his knee concern. Chris Fagan was quick to point out that the Lions' 49-point Grand Final win counts for nothing on Thursday night even if they still come into the game as 15 point favourites. On this point he is absolutely right, it is game on this week as the Cats look for some revenge.
Draftstars are offering a number of different contests to suit your style, some of these include:

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 10 – Brisbane vs Geelong
AFL Fantasy Round Ten - Thursday: Where to Attack?
This is going to be one of the toughest games you will have all year to work through as the defence vs position data provides very limited avenues to attack. This is not unexpected with two of the better teams in the league conceding some of the lowest amounts of fantasy scoring so far this season.
The only position that the Lions are giving up above average points to this year is key forwards at over 3 points per game above league average. Even this is quite a surprising statistic with the Lions having Harris Andrews as one of their cornerstones in defence, so target it with caution. When it comes to inside mdifielders and designated kickers they are giving up the fewest in the league.
Geelong, on the other hand, are also giving up above average points to key forwards, so in deciding where to roster you will need to build your teams with the game script in mind, rostering around which team you think will get the win (while also noting that Brisbane are favoured at home). The only other position that the Cats get exposed at is in the ruck where they are giving up the second most points in the league this year.
If we reflect on last year's grand final, it was the Lions midfielders and half backs that filled up with five players scoring over 100 points. I’d expect this game to be a much closer contest than we got last year, but they are the roles to consider if you are expecting a Lions victory.
Game Script – Brisbane key forwards, Brisbane half backs, mix midfielder
AFL Fantasy Round Ten - Thursday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Sam Draper ($9,880) is the value lock of this slate. Geelong have been giving up 12 points above league average to rucks over the last 10 games — the second highest in the competition — and Draper as Brisbane's primary ruckman steps into that matchup at under $10k, which is a price that simply does not reflect his ceiling when the ruck battle is this exploitable. He has posted 77, 47 and 67 in his last three but that 77 is the reference, and his hitout count and ground-level work against a Geelong ruck combination that has been leaking points should generate comfortably above his recent average. Over the past four weeks, Draper has lifted his rick contest attendance percentage to over 60%, essentially taking the lead role from Fort. At $9,880 he is the standout value play on this single game slate.
Jack Bowes ($9,940) has settled into Geelong's midfield nicely in 2026, posting 93, 50 and 65 in his last three for an average that understates his ceiling — the 93 last week was his best performance of the season and the reference point for what he can deliver when his contested work and run through the corridor combine. In a tight Grand Final rematch environment at the Gabba, his role as an inside-outside midfielder generates consistent accumulation regardless of game state.
Logan Morris ($9,030) has been on fire in Brisbane's forward line, kicking four goals in each of his last two games — eight goals across a fortnight is an extraordinary return that has elevated him to one of the more dangerous forwards in the competition in terms of recent output. His scoring is almost entirely goal-dependent which creates the boom-or-bust profile that defines tournament value plays, but noting that Geelong are giving up above average points to key forwards and Morris plays as more of a tall, this could be the play.
AFL Fantasy Round Ten - Thursday: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Darcy Wilmot ($12,170) has been one of Brisbane's most consistent half-back performers in 2026, posting 57, 134 and 68 in his last three games — that 134 two weeks ago is an extraordinary ceiling performance that showed exactly what he can produce when he is part of the link up play and his rebound disposal volume fires. With Lincoln McCarthy out with injury you can expect opportunities across the backline to increase. Brisbane are 15 point favourites at the Gabba and in a dominant home game script, Wilmot's role generating metres gained and kick-in bonuses from the back half is well serviced. If rostering, stack him up with other Lions players in similar roles.
AFL Fantasy Round Ten - Thursday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Will Ashcroft ($15,090) rounds out the premium locks alongside his Lions teammate Neale. He has been extraordinary in 2026, posting 79, 121 and 131 in his last three for an average that continues to climb toward elite territory — and those back-to-back 121 and 131 performances are the reference point that tells you exactly where his ceiling sits. Last week with the game in hand at half time, they essentially moved Will out of the centre as he attended his lowest CBA numbers all season, which accounted for his drop off in score. He will be back to his best in a key contest this week, coming off his Norm Smith winning performance the last time these two sides met in the Grand Final.
Lachie Neale ($15,340) is the form player of the slate, especially on Brisbane’s side. During 2026 he is averaging 31 disposals per game and posting 124, 109 and 159 in his last three games — that 159 last week was one of the highest individual scores posted in the competition this season. As Brisbane's primary CBA attendee and midfield engine in the biggest home game of their season, his ceiling is untouchable.
