Sandown-Hillside Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 9th 2026

Race 4: Quayclean Handicap 1800m – 1:45pm AEST

(11) Gold Chariot is flying right now with a pair of victories over the mile. The latest came in a Benchmark 66 Handicap when sprinting from last-to-first at Sandown-Lakeside. He was strong through the line in that win which makes the step up to 1800m suitable. The son of Circus Maximus steps up in grade again but has the light weight of 57kg which looks perfect. He should prove hard to beat again.

(4) Federer ran well last start at Caulfield when finishing fourth in a Benchmark 78 Handicap. He draws gate one this time around and Ethan Brown would love to settle midfield or better. With three runs under the belt, Federer should be ready to run a big race.

(11) Gold Chariot

Race 7: Orbit Logistics Chautauqua Stakes 1300m – 3:30pm AEST

*SCRATCHED* (9) Royal Insignia is deep into his campaign without scoring a win, but back-to-back second placings recently suggest he could surprise at odds here despite the speed map being against him. He was runner up behind Boomtown Boss in the Group 3 Aurie’s Star Handicap at Flemington at the start of August. He has had a jump out since to tick over. At double figures, looks a nice each-way play.

(6) Persian Spirit resumed with a second in the Listed Regal Roller Stakes. One of the inside draws looks perfect and he should map well.

Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 9th 2026

Race 3: Racing and Sports Plate 1150m – 2:45pm AEST

(7) Low Key is a three-year-old filly trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. She finished sixth in the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes on debut before being spelled. A recent barrier trial saw her sit last and sweep around them to win under a hold. Expect her to lead from gate two and she looks a filly with tremendous upside – should be hard to beat.

(5) Fiaba is a Chris Waller-trained first starter, a three-year-old filly by I Am Invincible. Much like Low Key, she sat back in a recent trial before running home strongly, except she finished second in the trial won by Rocks Or Diamonds. I’m expecting a strong performance on debut.

(7) Low Key

$1.85 (3 units)

Belmont Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 9th 2026

Race 4: Perth Racing Now Hiring Carnival Staff Handicap 1000m – 4:59pm AEST

(7) Mon Visage finished third on debut at the track over 1200m. She drops back 200m for her second career start which may suit. The filly was ridden perfectly on debut but the winner proved too good, although she should take plenty of benefit from that first time at the races. Shaun McGruddy who rode her in her trials jumps aboard. She looks a great price in this field.

(4) Star Martini has run well twice this campaign, finishing second before capturing her maiden at Northam over 1000m. She looks the leader once again and that will be advantageous with the rail +19m.

(7) Mon Visage

$6.00 (1 unit)
