Warwick Farm hosts midweek horse racing in New South Wales on Wednesday with eight races scheduled. It is expected to be wet with rain leading up to and on race day. The track is currently rated Heavy with the rail in the true position. The first jumps at 1:45pm AEDT and the last is set for 5:50pm AEDT. Let’s try and find some mudlarks!

Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 4th 2026
Race 3: Ranvet Handicap 1300m – 2:55pm (AEDT)
(6) Manaajem finished third at her first-up run at Canterbury over 1250m, finishing neck-and-neck with Nymphadora who also contests this event. Two of her five runs have come on Soft ground when beaten as an odds-on favourite on both occasions. She is much bigger odds here and should settle in the front half of the field. Expecting her to strip fitter second-up from a spell and she is one horse I am not worried about a wet track.
(1) Farindira is one of three Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained runners in the race and the three-year-old gelding won in dominant fashion on debut, leading all the way to win by 2.63 lengths. That was on a Good track, so there must be some query if the track is Heavy. If he handles the conditions, then he will prove hard to run down.
(5) Just Maz has also raced once for a victory, narrowly defeating Rach at Canterbury over 1250m. Will map handy from gate one with Nash Rawiller aboard. The three-year-old filly is the current favourite and she has strong claims to make it back-to-back wins.
(6) Manaajem E/W
$7.50/2.40 (1U/1.5U)
Race 5: Asahi Super Dry Handicap 1000m – 4:05pm (AEDT)
(4) Manukau is a Godolphin four-year-old mare prepared by Michael Freedman and she is racing in excellent form with a pair of wins coming at her last two starts. Tommy Berry has ridden her in all four starts this prep, with the latest coming in a Benchmark 72 Handicap (1100m) at Canterbury. She was ridden perfectly in that event to just hold off the fast-finishing Moor Mumm, who is a runner to keep an eye on next start.
(6) Taxation is another Godolphin runner in the race and she has won two of her three career starts before spelling. She has had two trials to get her ready and I would expect she will be raring to go in this event.
(3) Tai Lung is a last-start Nowra winner for trainer Terry Robinson. The seven-year-old gelding won at the track four starts back as a $51 rank outsider and looks a big price again for this event. Will be having something small on as his best form is good enough and he will handle the wet track.
Also backing: (3) Tai Lung WIN $14.00 (0.5 Units)
(4) Manukau WIN
$4.00 (1.5 Units)
Race 8: The Agency Real Estate Handicap 1200m – 5:50pm (AEDT)
(10) Ready To Shine will hopefully be just that here as he races third-up from a spell. Comes off a 1.18-length third behind Kimberley Secrets which is solid form for this race. Hoping he can settle midfield with Zac Lloyd in the saddle and run them down in the straight. Has won on Heavy ground before and has been runner up over the 1200m distance.
(2) Who But Roo almost got the nod as my top pick and he is a class dropper following a run where he was outclassed in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes (1200m) won by the star mare Joliestar. The eight-year-old gelding will appreciate racing in his right grade – he has won twice from five on Heavy going.
(6) New Pharoah started his campaign with victory at Beaumont-Newcastle before finishing fourth at Rosehill Gardens. That was a distant fourth as Rose Aye absolutely belted them by more than seven lengths.
(10) Ready To Shine WIN
$3.20 (2 Units)
