Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday, May 26th
PSG.LGD vs Team Aster
ESL One Birmingham 2020
PSG.LGD are entering this match with a perfect 6-0 record from their last six games and will hope to keep the fire going as they face off against Aster. PSG.LGD and Aster last met at the start of May, at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China, where PSG.LGD won 2-1. As the score would suggest, the match was close, which is not surprising, as Aster have historically played a close fixture against PSG.LGD and other strong Chinese Dota2 teams.
Despite PSG.LGD's remarkable results throughout the last couple of weeks, they won't have an easy time against Aster, simply because they will be facing their former coach QQQ, who is the right man to prepare Aster for this match. Betting on Aster to win, is still something I would not be prepared to do, because PSG.LGD are much stronger in terms of individual quality, but I am confident this match has the potential to see all three maps played. For higher odds, a correct score bet on PSG.LGD to win 2-1 is also something worth a punt.
Royal Never Give Up vs Longinus
ESL One Birmingham 2020
I have a difficult time finding any positive words for RNG and their performances as of late, but they're still far better team compared to Longinus. The fact of the matter is that Longinus does not have the roster to compete against RNG, since the only notable player in their team is InJuly, who has before played for Invictus Gaming's academy team. RNG, on the other side, are a team assembled from some of the biggest Chinese Dota2 talents, who need no special introduction.
This is a complete mismatch, and I would be shocked if Longinus can take anything from this bout despite being an online match. RNG will look to start the series strong, so betting on them to close out game one with at least 12 kills lead is a bet I find best suited here. A -1.5 map bet on RNG at 1.36 odds is also something to take a look at, although it offers significantly smaller payout.

Invictus Gaming vs Sparking Arrow Gaming
ESL One Birmingham 2020
Sparking Arrow Gaming are by no means a team that will establish themselves as Chinese Dota2 powerhouse anytime soon, but having them priced at 2.85 against IG is just disrespectful. I'm not trying to defend SAG for their questionable results in recent months, but they're not as bad as some may believe. IG, on the other side, are overall much stronger team with far better results through April and May, but IG have become a team I just can't trust to consistently stomp weaker teams. They have struggled against LGD.Int (2-1) and no-name teams GoodFellaz (2-1) a couple of weeks ago, so a -1.5 map bet on IG for this match is out of the question.
SAG and IG last met at China Dota2 Professional League Season 2, where IG won 2-1. The match was surprisingly close for the most part, but IG proved to be better prepared for the late game in both game two and three. Although IG won fairly convincingly, that does not justify the inflated odds on SAG, especially not in an online competition, which, as we have learned does not suit IG. Bet on Sparking Arrow Gaming to win at least one map and keep this match close.
