Esports Betting Tips: Thursday, July 23rd
Paradox vs TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE
LPL Pro League Season 5
Paradox and TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE last met in May at the ESEA MDL Season 34 Australia, where Paradox came away with a 16-13 win on Mirage. Harry "bedonka" Hayes was the best-performing player that day on the side of Paradox with 27 frags and 1.21 HLTV rating. On the side of TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE only Jordan "pz" White managed to impress with 24 frags and 1.21 HLTV rating.
The match as a whole was very close and even though TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE were ahead at the half time (10-6), Paradox executed a near-perfect performance on the CT side to turn the game into their favour.
Like their recent match, most of the previous fixtures between these two Australian sides were long and quite "puggy", so I expect to see much of the same here. Paradox are still the most likely winners since they already defeated TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE before and are showing better form, but I would not cross out the underdogs just yet.
TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE have enough individual talent to push the series into three maps, but taking the W will still be a bit out of their reach. The best bet we can take here is to place out money on Paradox to win 2-1, or alternatively a bet on Over 2.5 maps.
AVEZ vs Singularity
Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 4
AVEZ have been struggling as of late and managed a poor 2-3 record out of their last five. They have defeated Lyngby Viking and Wisla Krakow, which is nothing out of the ordinary, as these two sides are also going through some sort of a slump. On the other side, AVEZ lost to Hard Legion and Gambit Youngsters in relatively close matches, and got blown out of the server against Illuminar.
While AVEZ are not in the best form, Singularity are in even worse shape and are on top of that entering this match without their star player notaN, who will be replaced by their coach casle.
Singularity won only one match out of the last five (against GRAFICIARZE) and lost the remaining four against SJ, Illuminar, Izako Boars and lvlUP, all with 0-2. Their recent poor form is only an extension of their months-long struggles, seeing how Singularity managed a disastrous 36.8% win rate across the last three months.
Even though AVEZ are not one of the hottest teams as of now, they can be happy to be faced against a team that is not only struggling with their form but is also without one of their players. Since Singularity lost 0-2 against SJ and lvlUP, I have no hope they can keep this one close, let alone win the match. Bet on AVEZ to win comfortably!
CDEC Gaming vs Royal Never Give Up
DPL-CDA Professional League Season 2
Out of seven meetings between CDEC Gaming and Royal Never Give Up, RNG won only four series and eight maps, while CDEC won four series wins and 10 maps.
While it's true the H2H record shows close numbers, we have to consider that all of the last three matches between CDEC and RNG ended in CDEC's favor (2-0, 2-1, 2-0). CDEC also looked far better throughout DPL-CDA Professional League Season 2, by finishing the group stage with 6-3 record compared to RNG's 4-5.
RNG have just over a week ago added two new members to their roster in 白学家 and FelixCiaoBa from Sparking Arrow Gaming, however, neither managed to impress me yet. 白学家 has shown some signs of encouragement with his 4.21 KDA, but that alone won't be enough for RNG to take down CDEC.
Across the last 10 days, RNG defeated only EHOME (2-1) and Sirius (2-1) but lost to Aster (1-2) and Invictus Gaming (0-2). CDEC produced a far more convincing 3-1 record from their last four, which includes wins against RNG (2-0), ViCi (3-2) and Sirius (2-0), and one loss to EHOME (0-2).
From what the results show, CDEC have looked far better as of late and unless they get out drafted (which is highly unlikely, given RNG's iffy drafts), CDEC should win this one with relative ease.
