The 2020 Call of Duty League continues this weekend as the Seattle Surge get their chance to host a series. We have been on fire over the last few tournaments, picking Dallas Empire to win the Week 6 competition at odds of $3.67 before picking the Atlanta FaZe to win in Week 7 at odds of $2.22.

Call of Duty Week 8 (Seattle) Betting Tips
The action gets underway this Saturday morning at 6am (AEST) as the Chicago Huntsmen face off against the Paris Legion in the first game of the series. As always, just eight teams will be in attendance for the event, with four teams getting the week off to rest and practice.
With the win in Week 7, Atlanta move to the top of the Call of Duty League standings with 170 points. They become the second team in the league to win two events alongside the Dallas Empire and have a dominant record of 15 wins from 17 total matches played. They have a 48-19 map count and are the only team in the league above 70% map win percentage.
Atlanta won’t be playing this weekend though, nor will two of the other top five ranked teams in the Dallas Empire and Florida Mutineers. This makes the Seattle series arguably the weakest on paper we have had to date, with only the Chicago Hunstmen and Minnesota ROKKR representing the top five this weekend. At the time of writing, there are currently no markets for the overall winner of the weekend, but if they were to pop up, we assume that the Huntsmen and ROKKR would be at the top of the board. Chicago have recently made a big change to their roster by dropping Pierce ‘Gunless’ Hillman to the bench and picking up Preston ‘Prestinni’ Sanderson who is the twin brother of Hunstmen player Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sandersen.
Gunless had really been struggling for the Huntsmen, and there’s no doubt that Prestinni will be an upgrade and should reform some of the chemistry that saw him and his brother win a world championship for EUnited last season. Along with legends in Scump and Formal and arguably the best SMG player in the world at the moment ‘Envoy’, the Huntsmen’ new look roster is our pick to take the chocolates this weekend in the Seattle home series.
Chicago Huntsmen to win
$3.60
We also like a saver bet on Optic Gaming LA. They finally found some form two weeks ago, reaching the final of the Florida event before eventually losing to Atlanta.
