LIV Golf Virginia Betting Tips
Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C, Thursday 7th - Sunday 10th April
The Field
The man everyone is chasing remains Jon Rahm, who arrives fresh off a dominant six-shot victory in Mexico City. The reigning two-time LIV Individual Champion now owns two wins, three runner-up finishes and a fifth through seven starts, giving him a commanding lead atop the season standings.
Close behind him is Bryson DeChambeau, whose own form has been superb with two wins in his last four starts. DeChambeau and Rahm have effectively separated themselves as the league’s benchmark duo, and their ongoing heavyweight battle has become the defining storyline of the LIV season.
Further down the board, the race for U.S. Open qualification adds serious pressure to players like Thomas Detry, Elvis Smylie, Anthony Kim and David Puig, all of whom know a big week could punch their ticket into the year’s third major.
The Course
Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C. returns as host after previously staging LIV Golf DC in 2023, with this year’s event using an altered routing that should present a fresh challenge even to returning players.
Stretching to 7,679 yards at par 72, the Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the longer tests on the LIV schedule and rewards players who can overpower it while still controlling their approach play.
The risk-reward stretch along the Potomac River should provide fireworks, particularly the drivable 310-yard par-4 eighth, which offers eagle chances but can punish poor decisions quickly. Expect aggression all week.
Top Picks
Bryson DeChambeau
Few players in world golf are carrying more momentum right now. DeChambeau has won two of the last four LIV events and his elite driving gives him a massive edge on a long, attackable venue like Trump National. If the putter behaves, he has every chance to make it three wins in five starts.
David Puig
The young Spaniard continues to trend upward and arrives off a podium finish in Mexico City. With U.S. Open qualification on the line and his confidence growing by the week, Puig has both the motivation and the firepower to contend on a course that rewards aggressive shot-making.
