Finals or Bust for Voss and the Blues
For Carlton, this match marks the beginning of a daunting new era without their long-time spearhead, Curnow. However, there are huge hopes for young gun Jagga Smith, who is set to make his official AFL debut. Smith was the standout performer in the Blues' final practice game against Geelong, dominating the midfield with a massive 37 disposals and a goal. Michael Voss will be looking for that same spark on Thursday night, alongside captain Patrick Cripps and a fit Sam Walsh.
