Sunday afternoon at GIO Stadium gives us one of the more interesting underdog spots of the round, although I’m not even sure the Cowboys should be the underdog. Canberra have been better recently, but their team list situation is heavily tied to Origin.

Saturday night at AAMI Park is exactly the type of Origin-affected game where confidence needs to be kept in check. On paper, Storm vs Roosters is a huge matchup, but the betting picture is messy because both squads have key players coming off Origin duty.

NRL Super Saturday returns this week and begins in Newcastle as the Knights host the Eels. Few would have predicted that there would be such a disparity between these two sides on the competition ladder at this stage of the season.
