(9) Reach Goal is drawn perfectly here after demonstrating and maintaining solid form in his past few runs. Loves these long distance races and will be right in the finish of this one.
(1) Kowloon Great is another horse who loves these trips but is drawn less favourably for Zac Purton today than Reach Goal. He’ll be able to get in the finish with some luck but it’s a risk.
(7) Super Hong Kong produced at Sha Tin. He’ll be able to bounce back from a good gate here under Matthew Chadwick so watch out.

(5) Beauty Destiny is undefeated in his career at trials across Hong Kong and Australia. He’s racing under Zac Purton today and looks an incredible talent ready to explode onto the scene.
(3) Lucky Encounter was good on debut and now has racing experience and extra fitness to help him today. From gate 1 under Karis Teetan he looks the main danger to this favourite.
(2) Regency Bo Bo is drawn the widest here but goes forward. He’s found a race without too much pressure up front so may be able to cross early and receive a nice run.

(6) Red Hare King comes out of War Weapon’s race last start who has won since. That reads well for this horse who ran 2nd on that day and is drawn perfectly today in gate 1.
(1) Happy For All is the clear danger to the favourite to be ridden by Zac Purton. He’s neutrally drawn and was 2nd in the race Blue Marlin came out of to win his next race.
(2) Storm Legend has the advantage of race experience over most of his main rivals in this event. Joao Moreira is aboard the horse who is a recent class-dropper and should be competitive.
