Perth Wildcats v Sydney Kings
Wednesday 28 October | 9:30pm AEDT | RAC Arena, Perth
Round 7 begins with a fascinating rematch between Perth and Sydney, less than two weeks after the Kings handed the Wildcats a comprehensive 102-81 defeat.
Perth will be pleased to have this one back on their home floor, particularly after their thrilling 103-102 victory over Melbourne United on Friday night. The Wildcats have shown they can compete with the better teams, but doing it consistently has been another matter.
Sydney have also had an eventful few weeks, mixing some impressive performances with unexpected setbacks. Their convincing win over Illawarra showed just how dangerous they can be when everything clicks, although Melbourne United brought them back to earth on Sunday.
The Wildcats will need a much better defensive effort than they produced in Sydney, while the Kings face the challenge of winning at one of the league's toughest away venues.
We'll publish our full Wildcats v Kings betting preview with the latest team news, analysis and best bet ahead of Wednesday's game.

Brisbane Bullets v Cairns Taipans
Thursday 29 October | 8:00pm AEDT | Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Brisbane and Cairns meet in a Queensland derby on Thursday night, with both teams looking to build some momentum after an unpredictable opening month.
The Bullets had a welcome return to form against South East Melbourne in Round 5 and followed that with an impressive road win over Illawarra on Saturday. Their injury list has been a major talking point, however, and the availability of their key players will again be important.
Cairns are coming off a hard-fought 86-84 win over New Zealand, a result that should give them confidence after a heavy defeat against the Phoenix the previous week.
The Taipans also defeated Brisbane 97-91 in their first meeting earlier this month, so they'll be confident of doing the double. Whether they can reproduce that performance away from home remains to be seen.
Our full Bullets v Taipans preview will examine the latest injuries, team form and betting value before Thursday's Queensland derby.

Quick Preview
New Zealand Breakers v Adelaide 36ers
Friday 30 October | 5:30pm AEDT | Spark Arena, Auckland
New Zealand return home looking to get their season back on track after a couple of frustrating results, while Adelaide will be hoping to bounce back from Saturday's loss to South East Melbourne.
The Breakers have been one of the more difficult teams to assess this season. They've shown they can compete with anyone, including a memorable upset over Sydney, but have also let some winnable games slip away. Sunday's narrow 86-84 defeat in Cairns was another missed opportunity.
Sam Mennenga has been a major positive for New Zealand, carrying a significant offensive workload, while the ongoing fitness of Parker Jackson-Cartwright remains an important consideration.
Adelaide have plenty of scoring power, particularly with Bryce Cotton capable of taking over games, but their defensive performances haven't always matched their offensive talent. The 36ers also lost 88-72 at home to New Zealand earlier this month, so there's an element of revenge about this contest.
This shapes as a tricky betting game. The Breakers have the home advantage and already know they can beat Adelaide, but the 36ers have enough firepower to turn things around if they can find some defensive consistency.
We'll assess our betting selections once the latest team news and handicap market are available.

Tasmania JackJumpers v Sydney Kings
Friday 30 October | 7:30pm AEDT | Silverdome, Launceston
One of the most intriguing games of the round takes place in Launceston, where the JackJumpers host the Sydney Kings in what promises to be a physical contest.
Tasmania have continued to make life difficult for opponents with their defensive pressure and work on the boards. Their convincing 106-85 win over Brisbane last Wednesday was another example of how effective Scott Roth's team can be when they control the tempo.
Sydney bring a very different challenge. The Kings have enough scoring talent to punish any defensive lapses and have shown their best basketball can be as good as anyone's in the competition.
With Tasmania also scheduled to play South East Melbourne on Sunday, this begins an important double-header for the JackJumpers.
We'll have a full JackJumpers v Kings betting preview with our recommended selection once the latest markets and team news are confirmed.

Cairns Taipans v Melbourne United
Saturday 31 October | 7:30pm AEDT | Cairns Convention Centre
Cairns welcome Melbourne United to Far North Queensland on Saturday night, looking to repeat their impressive 107-95 victory over United in Round 3.
The Taipans have already shown they're capable of producing some outstanding basketball at home, but consistency has been the issue. Their recent win over New Zealand was hard-earned, and they'll need another strong performance to trouble Melbourne.
United remain one of the competition's benchmark teams, although their narrow loss in Perth last Friday highlighted that they're far from unbeatable. They responded with an important victory over Sydney on Sunday and will be looking to carry that momentum into Round 7.
With both sides capable of putting up big scores, the total points market could also be worth investigating alongside the handicap.
Our full Taipans v United preview will cover the latest form, team news and our preferred betting market.

Perth Wildcats v Illawarra Hawks
Saturday 31 October | 9:30pm AEDT | RAC Arena, Perth
Perth complete their Round 7 double-header at home against Illawarra on Saturday night, and it's a game the Wildcats will be expecting to win.
The Hawks have endured a miserable opening month, with their defensive problems continuing to hurt them. After conceding 108 points to Sydney on Thursday, they followed up with another disappointing home defeat against Brisbane, losing 98-81.
Illawarra have enough individual talent to cause problems, particularly with Tyler Harvey and their frontcourt options, but they simply haven't been able to put together four consistent quarters often enough.
Perth have been much more competitive at RAC Arena, where the home crowd can make life uncomfortable for visiting teams. Their dramatic win over Melbourne United last week was another reminder of how dangerous they can be in Perth.
The biggest consideration is the Wildcats' turnaround, with this their second game in four days. Even so, Illawarra's defensive struggles make it difficult to have much confidence in the visitors.
The Wildcats should win but the handicap may offer better value. We'll wait for the opening lines before recommending a betting play.

South East Melbourne Phoenix v Tasmania JackJumpers
Sunday 1 November | 3:00pm AEDT | John Cain Arena, Melbourne
South East Melbourne host Tasmania in Sunday's opening game, with the Phoenix looking to continue their recent improvement against one of the NBL's toughest defensive teams.
The Phoenix bounced back strongly from their disappointing loss to Brisbane, recording consecutive wins over Cairns and Adelaide. Their 108-94 victory over the 36ers on Saturday showed the attacking threat they possess when their offence is working.
Tasmania will have just played Sydney in Launceston on Friday night, so the short turnaround and interstate travel are factors worth considering.
It's a fascinating contrast in styles. South East Melbourne will want to push the pace and generate plenty of scoring opportunities, while the JackJumpers are generally at their best when they can slow opponents down and turn games into physical contests.
We'll publish our full Phoenix v JackJumpers preview and best bet once Friday's Tasmania result and the latest markets are available.

Quick Preview
Adelaide 36ers v Brisbane Bullets
Sunday 1 November | 5:00pm AEDT | Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Adelaide and Brisbane close out Sunday's double-header, with both teams backing up from games earlier in the round.
The 36ers have been one of the NBL's more entertaining teams to watch, largely because of their ability to score in bunches. Bryce Cotton remains the obvious danger man, but Adelaide will need more consistent contributions across the roster if they're going to establish themselves as genuine contenders.
Brisbane have had a difficult start to the season, although their recent victories over South East Melbourne and Illawarra suggest there may be some improvement on the horizon.
The Bullets' biggest issue has been keeping their preferred lineup healthy. When they're missing key players, particularly in the frontcourt, it becomes much harder to compete with the league's stronger teams.
Adelaide should enjoy a significant advantage playing at home, but the 36ers haven't always been reliable defensively either. If Brisbane can keep this close early, there may be opportunities for the visitors to make things interesting.
With both teams playing their second game of the round, we'll be paying particular attention to Thursday and Friday's results before settling on a final selection.
We lean to the 36ers winning at home but the value will depend on the betting lines and Brisbane's available personnel.

Melbourne United v New Zealand Breakers
Monday 2 November | 7:30pm AEDT | John Cain Arena, Melbourne
Round 7 concludes on Melbourne Cup Eve with United hosting the Breakers at John Cain Arena.
Melbourne have been among the NBL's strongest teams through the opening rounds, combining an experienced lineup with a well-balanced offence. Their victory over Sydney on Sunday was an important response after the previous week's narrow defeat in Perth.
New Zealand have shown plenty of resilience this season, particularly while dealing with injuries. Sam Mennenga has been outstanding, and the Breakers have enough talent to trouble United if they can control the tempo.
Both teams will be playing their second game of Round 7, with Melbourne travelling back from Cairns and New Zealand returning from their Friday night home game against Adelaide.
United will start with the advantage of playing at home, but we'll want to see how both teams come through their earlier matches before making a betting recommendation.
Our full United v Breakers preview will include the latest injury news, market analysis and best bet for Monday night's game.
