It’s a logjam in the top half of the Premier League table, featuring many sides who have surprised to be towards the top end of the table. Only four points separate 5th from 12th, while Arsenal will be looking to keep in touch with Manchester City at the top of the table.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City Preview & Betting Tips
Aston Villa vs Manchester City
Villa Park | Saturday 24 October 2026 | 10:30pm AEDT
The league leaders travel to Birmingham looking to keep their perfect season intact. Aston Villa had a terrible start to the season, but are beginning to build with two wins and a draw from their last three games. Villa are twelfth on the table but are only two points behind sixth place, so there is a great chance for them to get back amongst the part of the table they expected to be in. Manchester City come into this fixture on the back of a 3-2 win against Ipswich Town, led by a Erling Haaland brace.
Enzo Maresca’s side have been incredibly well balanced through seven games. Man City are the second highest scoring team in the league with 19 goals, while they’re the equal third best defensive outfit having conceded just seven goals. Comparatively Aston Villa ranks in the bottom half of the league for both goals scored and goals conceded, highlighting the massive challenge that lies ahead of them despite their improved form.
Manchester City have regularly been playing in high scoring games, with their last three games producing 16 total goals. The league leaders also possess two of the top four scorers in the league with Haaland (8 goals) and Rayan Cherki (4). They also have two of the top four assist leaders with Josko Gvardiol (3) and Antoine Semenyo (3). Coming up against a vulnerable Aston Villa defence, there should be plenty of goals in this fixture.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Preview & Betting Tips
Chelsea vs Tottenham
Stamford Bridge | Sunday 25 October 2026 | 3:30am AEDT
London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham face off on Sunday morning, with Chelsea looking to keep their place in the top four. It’s been a bizarre season with Chelsea eight points behind first placed Manchester City, but are only four points ahead of tenth placed Ipswich Town. Tottenham finally got on the winners list on Matchday 7, with a 3-1 victory over Coventry to lift themselves off the bottom of the table and out of the relegation zone.
After barely avoiding relegation last season, this season hasn’t started well for Spurs who have a 1-3-3 record. Tottenham have been inept in the front half, only scoring six goals from seven games - with three of those coming last week. On the other hand, Chelsea have been electric in attack this season, scoring 17 goals which is the third most in the Premier League. Joao Pedro (5 goals) and Morgan Rogers (4) both rank in the top four leading goal scorers, in what has been an electric attacking side under Xabi Alonso.
Chelsea have well and truly had the better of Spurs in recent seasons, winning the last six Premier League fixtures between the two sides. These wins have mostly been in convincing fashion too, with an aggregate scoreline of 14-5 across the six games. Tottenham don’t have the attacking weapons to compete with Chelsea, who come into this game on the back of consecutive wins. Tottenham are yet to win a game away from home this season and Chelsea will inflict further misery on their rivals.

Liverpool vs Brighton Preview & Betting Tips
Liverpool vs Brighton
Anfield | Monday 26 October 2026 | 1:00am AEDT
The best game of Matchday 8 sees a battle of third versus fifth as Brighton travel north to take on Liverpool. Brighton have had a stellar start to the season with a 5-1-1 record, a league high 23 goals scored, an equal league fewest 5 goals conceded and a league best +18 goal difference. They head to Anfield on a run of four consecutive wins and will be looking for their first Premier League win at the venue since 2021.
Liverpool got back on the winners list with an important 2-1 win over Brentford, which saw the Reds move into fifth place on the table. Goals to Alexander Isak and Victor Munoz saw Liverpool turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead in the space of just eight minutes in the second half. Liverpool’s attacking game is yet to get going this season, scoring only nine goals through seven games, ranked 11th in the Premier League.
Brighton are outstanding value in this fixture, it’s rare a team that ranks first in the league in attack and defence goes into a game as outsiders. Although Anfield has been a tough venue to travel to across the last decade, it hasn’t been this season, with Liverpool having a 0-2-1 record at home this season. Brighton certainly have a big advantage with the way their attack has played this season, having ten different players scoring so far. Brighton’s variety will be too much for the Reds to handle, and they’ll continue their sensational start to the season.
