Titans vs Broncos Preview & Betting Tips: NRL Round 19 2025

July 12th 2025, 6:38pm, By: Ben Bridge

Titans vs Broncos Betting Tips

NRL Round 19 comes to an end with a battle of two Queensland teams, as the Broncos head to the Gold Coast and bid to win their fifth straight to keep their top 4 hopes alive. With the Titans already looking towards 2026 with a new Head Coach, this could get ugly real fast. Two teams at opposite ends of the spectrum, let’s find some value to make this game worth watching.

Ben Bridge brings you his preview and best bets for this clash below and if you’re keen to play along, simply join Neds via this link!

Titans vs Broncos Prediction & Tips: 2025 NRL Round 19

Titans with One Hand on the Wooden Spoon

The Titans come into this clash off the bye, having won only one of their past six matches. With news coming out during the week that Head Coach Des Hasler is a dead man walking, and five eighth Kieran Foran confirming his retirement at years end, the Titans are fully into 2026 mode, and they could really struggle for the rest of the season. In their last game, the Titans hosted the Cowboys in round 17. In a tight matchup where the Titans were dominant statistically, they still couldn’t manage the win, trailing 30-18 with just five minutes remaining, before scoring a consolation try through Phillip Sami to make the final score more respectable at 30-24. The Titans will welcome back livewire halfback Jayden Campbell, who missed their matchup with the Cowboys. The Titans currently occupy 17th and last, and a loss here will put them one step closer to a first wooden spoon since 2019.

Ben Hunt Returns for the Surging Broncos

The Broncos come in as one of the hottest teams in the competition and were last seen dismantling the Bulldogs last week in Sydney. It was a huge win for the Broncos, who were without several big-name players due to Origin. The Baby Broncos showed true heart, coming back from 18-0 down at the hour mark, to storm home and win 22-18 after scoring four unanswered tries in just 14 minutes. Young forward Xavier Willison was massive for the winning side, making 43 tackles and running for over 200 metres, in a statement to the rest of the league that the Broncos have one of the most explosive forward packs in the league. Ezra Mam continued his tremendous season, setting up three tries and three-line breaks, in a terrific display by the controversial five eighth. With Ben Hunt due back this week, the Broncos are building nicely towards the run to the finals.

Titans vs Broncos Recent History

The Titans had an impressive recent record against their Big Brothers, having won three in a row during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, before the Broncos snapped that streak earlier in the year. The Broncos came into the round 14 clash at Suncorp Stadium as 11.5-point home favourites, with a total closing 51.5. The Broncos were quite ill-disciplined throughout, making 13 errors and missing 32 tackles, however in attack they were potent, running for 1841 metres and breaking the line 9 times. Josiah Karapani was huge in his season debut, scoring two tries and running for 179 metres, Gehamat Shibasaki and Reece Walsh were also massive, combining for four tries, two-line breaks, two-line break assists, and two try assists.

Broncos Continue Surge Towards Top 4

The Broncos were priced as 10.5-point favourites on the look ahead, before re-opening at the same number on Monday. There has been little movement all week, with bettors awaiting news of Origin players backing up before taking their positions. There is strong mail that Payne Haas will miss the game, however if Xavier Willison can put up another big performance this week, the loss of Haas shouldn’t be too difficult to handle for the Broncos. I make the Broncos 12.5-point favourites, so I do like the Broncos under the two converted tries mark. They are in terrific form, and with a potential top 4 spot now available, the Broncos need to keep winning. I’ll take the Broncos to win by 13+ for a better price.

The total at a high 51.5 points, and unlike the spread it has moved, being bet down to 49.5. I’m not sure I agree with the unders money, and I make a fair total 53.5. The Titans have been a heavy overs team this season, and conditions expected to be perfect in Robina on Sunday evening. I would be slightly worried about the Titans being unable to score their share, and as such it won’t be my best bet, however I will look at the over in my SGM, and would also advocate for a Broncos team total over, which currently sits around 28.5My fair total for the Broncos would be 32.5, so see decent value here.

Broncos (13+)

Titans vs Broncos Player Prop Bet: Reece Lightning to Strike Again

Our Best Prop Bet: Walsh 1+ Try

The Broncos fullback is back and looking as good as ever, scoring four tries in four tries in his three games since returning from injury. Has four tries in his past two games against the Titans, including two earlier this season.

Reece Walsh (1+ try)

$2.10 (1 Unit)

Same Game Multi: Titans vs Broncos

Leg 1: Over 50.5 points – Read main preview, I like the over here.

Leg 2: R Walsh (1+ try) – See player prop.

Leg 3: B Fermor (1+ try) – Great value added here with Fermor, who is paying $4 to cross the line. Fermor has six tries this season, and always looks dangerous on the edge.
