Collingwood vs West Coast: 2025 AFL Round 16
Black and White Blitz: Collingwood Storming
The Pies are flying at the moment. They are six points clear atop the AFL ladder and have won their last six games on the trot. They were too good for the Saints last week, winning by 34 points on the back of a dominant display from the Daicos brothers. Despite a hard tag from Marcus Windhager, Nick managed to rack up 30 touches in a best on ground performance while Josh added 30 of his own, including 23 kicks. The Pies forward line continues to perform via committee, as Tim Membrey, Daniel McStay, Patrick Lipinski, Jamie Elliot and Darcy Cameron all chipped in for two goals each in the win.
West Coast Woes: Another Week, Another Loss Looms
It’s been another season to forget for the Eagles, having won just the one game this season against the Saints about a month ago. They were defeated by 34 points by the Blues back in Round 14 and will be coming off their bye round last week. They have had some bright spots in emerging players throughout the season, but haven’t got that next step from their top line players that they might have hoped, particularly Harley Reid. The Eagles have an average losing margin of 41.1 points this season.
Allen’s in All Sorts: Skipper Goes Down for Season
The Eagles suffered a big injury blow in the loss to the Blues, with co-captain Oscar Allen going down with a season ensign injury. Allen joins some big names who are already on the sidelines for the Eagles, including Elliot Yeo, Jake Waterman and Dom Sheed. The Pies have a pretty strong looking injury list at the moment, and could see this game as an opportunity to rest some of the more valuable players, particularly veterans like Sidebottom and Pendlebury. Beau McCreery, Lachie Shultz, Fin Macrae and Billy Frampton will remain on the sidelines for the Pies.
Pies or Eagles? Here’s our Collingwood vs West Coast Tip
The Pies start as almost unbackable 59.5 point favourites here. Not really keen to take them on at that line, but I do like the unders here. The Eagles are the lowest scoring team in the league and the Pies are the top rated defence in the league, allowing just 69 points per game. The total seems a little high at 172.5, considering just two of the last eight matchups between these two teams have gone over that. The average total in those eight games is 156.7 points.

Collingwood vs West Coast Player Prop Bet
Our Best Player Prop: Jamie Elliot 3+ Goals
Elliot has been a key target for the Pies this season, leading their goalkickers with 36 goals. I think the Pies win this one pretty easily and the forwards should all fill their boots. With Elliot sitting 12 off the Coleman lead here, there is no doubt the Pies will be looking for him at all opportunities to get him back in the mix for the medal.

Same Game Multi
Throughout the 2025 AFL season we’ll be putting together a fun same game multi for every match using Dabble.
Josh Daicos 25+ Disposals - Josh has been an accumulating beast over the last few months. Has had 25+ in four of his last five games and in that five game stretch, is averaging 29.6 disposals. Had 28 the last time he faced the Eagles.
Liam Baker 20+ Disposals - One of the few Eagles accumulating decent numbers on a weekly basis at the moment. Baker has had 20+ in 12/14 games this season and had 20 the last time he faced the Pies.
Liam Duggan 15+ Disposals - Expecting the ball to be down the Pies end for the majority of this game, so Duggan should have ample opportunity to accumulate. 15+ in his last eight straight games.
