The NBA Cup continues Saturday with nine games set to be played. There may be some one-sided match ups on the slate, but the highlight tips off at 1:30pm AEDT with the Spurs hosting the Warriors. We bring out three best bets and prop bets for the day below!

NBA Betting Tips: Saturday, November 15th 2025
Portland Trail Blazers at Houston Rockets (12:00pm AEDT)
The Portland Trail Blazers (6-5) defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 125-117 last game, and they head to Texas to battle the Houston Rockets (7-3) who come off a 135-112 demolition of the Washington Wizards. Both teams are scoring at will in the early part of the season with the Rockets averaging 124 points per game (tied for second) and the Blazers averaging 121 points (seventh). One stat worth noting is that the Rockets have been efficient, shooting 49.8% from the field compared to the Blazers at 45.7% which puts them 21st in the league.
Trying to limit open shots from deep will be a key factor for the Blazers to remain competitive as the Rockets lead the league with 43.5% shooting from three. They have a balanced attack offensively led by Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun with both players capable of turning it on when needed.
The Rockets should pack too much of a punch at home – Deni Avdija has become the offensive priority for the Blazers, and he looks a strong chance to cover his points total.
Prop Bet: D. Avdija Over 23.5 Points $1.83 (1 Unit) bet365
Rockets -8

Sacramento Kings at Minnesota Timberwolves (12:00pm AEDT)
It has been a disaster start to the season for the Sacramento Kings (3-9) and there is plenty of chatter about gutting their roster and rebuilding. They are on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves (7-4) who are looking like a Playoff calibre team once again this season. The Kings were dismantled 144-117 by the Wolves three games back. They were then embarrassed again at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks 133-100.
Quite often NBA teams after a couple of blowouts will bounce back quickly. I don’t expect them to be winning this match up, but I think they have the necessary motivation to be competitive – recent games against the Denver Nuggets showed glimpses of some fight from the likes of Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan. They are struggling to score though, ranking 23rd in the league at 113.4 points per game. Their rebounding has been terrible and if they don’t show more effort on the glass, then the Timberwolves will wipe the floor with them.
Anthony Edwards will be his usual self for the Wolves and should lead the scoring as Julius Randle offers plenty of support at power forward. Jaden McDaniels has started the season well too. The Kings appeal to cover the +12.5 line.
Kings +12.5

Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs (1:30pm AEDT)
The Golden State Warriors (7-6) are set to battle the San Antonio Spurs (8-3) in a rematch from their game just two days prior. On that occasion, the Warriors won 125-120 after Steph Curry went ballistic, scoring 46 points on 13-25 shooting from the field. Jimmy Butler was pivotal also with 28 points and eight assists, plus three steals. For the Spurs, it was Victor Wembanyama recording a triple double with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Stephon Castle also had a triple double with a 23-10-10 stat line.
Adjustments need to be made by the Spurs, and the priority will be to slow down Curry – the likes of Castle, De’Aaron Fox and Jeremy Sochan may take turns guarding Curry and it only takes an inch of separation for Curry to pull the trigger on three-point shots. The Spurs will have a distinct advantage on the glass, largely due to Wemby, but the Warriors have more three-point potency – making 15.8 per game compared to the Spurs at 12.6.
With better half-court execution in the rematch and more defensive attention on denying Curry, the Spurs can prevail at home.
Prop Bet: V. Wembanyama Over 26.5 Points $1.86 (1 Unit) bet365
Spurs -2.5
