Knights vs Roosters Prediction & Tips: 2025 NRL Round 15
Which Knights Team Turns Up?
The Knights were brave in overcoming a 16-nil HT deficit last week against the Sea Eagles at home. Booed off the field at HT, their players had every right to remain poor. Rather, a strong second half display lifted them to a Golden Point victory. This was made more impressive by the fact that they overcame an inferior share of possession (47%) and a poor completion rate (73%). They still managed 8.9m per carry and had 6 line breaks. The challenge for them is to now maintain this standard.
A Sleeping Giant?
The Roosters are an improving side and had a week off in Round 14 to lament their 26-24 loss to the Raiders at home. Though, there was plenty for them to be proud of in that performance. With just 42% possession and a horror 63% completion rate, they were gritty and determined. These areas of their execution can be improved upon and should only get better as key players return. Placed 10th on the ladder, they are a real chance of moving up in the middle stage of the season.
Stats That Matter
- The Knights struggle against the Roosters, winning just 2 of their past 15 meetings between these two clubs.
- The Roosters have no issues traveling to this ground; they have a 74% winning rate here compared with the Knights 54%.
- The Knights struggle in attack but have proven better defensively this season than the Roosters. They score just 14ppg compared to the Roosters 24ppg. On the other side of things, the Roosters leak 26ppg compared to the Knights 19ppg.
The Roosters Game to Lose
Not only do they have a superior record against their opponents, at this ground or overall this season, the Roosters are boosted by the return of Sam Walker to the halves. Despite losing players to Origin, they are still fielding a strong side. The Knights also lose Ponga and while they were successful in their last game without him, their form against the Sea Eagles last week is somewhat questionable at best. Therefore, this game is the Roosters to lose. All signs point towards a dominating result to the visitors also, with the home side struggling to limit the scoring opportunities of their opponents, while producing their own in response.

Knights vs Roosters Same Game Multi
Leg 1: Roosters 13+ - see above for justification of this option.
Leg 2: Total Points Over 44.5 – despite the average points total in the past 5 games sitting at 38.4 points, the attacking and defensive record of each team suggests this total is going to be surpassed.
Leg 3: Nawaqanitawase to score – he has scored 9 tries this season already and will become a greater threat as he moves closer to the ball at centre.
