Fremantle vs St Kilda: 2025 AFL Round 16
High Tide in the West: Dockers Surge into Contention
The Dockers are one of the form teams in the competition at the moment, having won their last five games in a row dating back to Round 9. They were far too good for an undermanned Essendon side last week, winning by 41 points on the back of an absolutely dominant performance from Luke Jackson. The ruckman had 21 touches, kicked three goals and had a whopping 48 hitouts in the win, putting together one of the highest rated games of the season so far. The midfield is also firing on all cylinders at the moment, with Caleb Serong and Andrew Brayshaw both in career form.
Saints in Freefall: Ross Searching for Answers
The Saints started the season surprising many with wins over the likes of Geelong and Port Adelaide away from home ,but have since been one of the more disappointing teams in the league. They are the only side that has lost to the Eagles this season and are coming off a 34 point loss to the Magpies on Saturday night football last week. They have lost their last two games by an average of 53 points, allowing 132 and 108 to the Dogs and Pies in those two games.
Health is Wealth: Both Sides Near Full Strength for Sunday Stoush
After battling a long list of injuries to key players all season, the Saints now have one of the better looking injury lists in the league, despite the continuing absences of bookends in Dougal Howard and Max King. Mattaes Phillipou will remain on the sidelines after re-aggravating his plantaris in the warm up last week, but outside of those three players, the Saints have a full complement of players to choose from. The Dockers are another team that is relatively healthy at the moment. Hayden Young and Sam Switowski are best 22 walk ups that remain on the sidelines, but defender Alex Pearce will be looking to make a return to the side from a shin injury this week.
Dockers or Saints? Here’s our Fremantle vs St Kilda Tip
The Dockers start as 22.5 point favourites here and I absolutely love them at that line. The Saints haven’t been competitive over the last few months outside of a random win against Melbourne in Darwin a few weeks ago. They were handled comfortably by the Eagles last time they travelled west and now come up against the form side in the competition who is near full strength. Their five game win streak has come by an average margin of 28.2. Should be far too good for the Saints at home.

Our Best Player Prop: Darcy Wilson Anytime Goalscorer
The running machine has been getting on the end of a few coast to coast goals lately, kicking four goals in his last three games. Has kicked nine goals this season and kicked one when the two sides met at Marvel Stadium earlier this season. Like the odds for him to find the scoreboard here.

Same Game Multi
Throughout the 2025 AFL season we’ll be putting together a fun same game multi for every match using Dabble.
Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera 25+ Disposals - The half back has gone to another level in previous weeks, racking up huge disposal and metres gained numbers as the Saints look to give the ball to him at every opportunity. Has had 25+ in every game since Round 6 and in his last four in particular, has gone 36, 29, 31 and 35.
Jordan Clark 25+ Disposals -Running half backs/wingers always tend to rack up easy numbers against the Saints with the way Ross Lyon likes to set up his defence. Bailey Dale had 36 against the Saints two weeks ago before Josh Daicos had 30 last week. Expect Jordan Clark to play a similar role and get big numbers.
Hunter Clark 15+ Disposals - Came back into the Saints side from injury back in Round 11 and in the four games he has played, is averaging a healthy 17.5 touches. Had 17 last week against the Pies and had 18 when he last faced the Dockers.
