Another great night of esports action coming up this Monday, the 8th of June, highlighted by some interesting matchups in the DOTA2 Vulkan Fight series! Check out our best bets for the night below.
Esports Betting Tips: Monday, June 8th
Khan vs Team Empire Hope
Vulkan Fight Series
Throughout the group stage, Khan defeated Nemiga (2-0), 4 Zoomers (2-1), but failed to overcome NOVA (1-2), while Team Empire Hope lost to OG.Seed (1-2) and picked up wins against Family Team (2-1) and Heroic (2-0). Looking at those results, Empire Hope definitely look like a stronger team and the fact that they already defeated Khan (2-1) in May only further proves that.
I was not impressed with Khan's performances throughout the group stage and their overall performances throughout the past month. They will be entering this match with a 2-9 record from their last 11 fixtures, which includes two 0-2 losses against amateur teams 5dog and FTM 2.0. Khan have won only six maps out of last 22 played and with those numbers, I have no reason to trust them to win here. Bet on Team Empire Hope to defeat the struggling Khan!
OG.Seed vs Nemiga Gaming
Vulkan Fight Series
OG.Seed and Nemiga will kick off the opening round of Vulkan Fight Series playoffs this Monday, which will also be their second meeting in a month. OG.Seed and Nemiga last met in May at the Cyber.bet Cup: Spring Series - EU, where OG.Seed swept the floor with Nemiga and ended up reaching the grand finals, while Nemiga lost (1-2) their round two match against the eventual champions Vikin.gg.
OG.Seed are entering this match with a 6-4 record from their last 10 fixtures. They lost to Vikin.gg (twice), CR4ZY and most recently Family Team. Nemiga, on the other side, are holding onto a 5-5 record from their last 10. They lost to Aggressive Mode (now Family Team), OG.Seed, Unique, Vikin.gg and Khan. On a more positive note, Nemiga are entering this match on a two-game winning streak which they earned by defeating NOVA and 4 Zoomers in Vulkan Fight Series group stage.
Although Nemiga looked very solid in their last two fixtures in the group stage, they're still a level below OG.Seed and will struggle to get anything from this match. They struggled to defeat Khan at the end of May, which is a clear indication Nemiga haven't improved since their last meeting with OG.Seed and are likely in for another 0-2 loss. Trust OG.Seed to dominate Nemiga!
Skyfire vs Paradox
ESEA MDL Season 34 Australia
Skyfire are entering this match in an absolutely dreadful form. While their losses against AVANT and Chiefs were expected, Skyfire also lost to Control, Ground Zero and Generation of Miracles, who are not what you would describe as solid Australian CS:GO teams. So far at ESEA MDL Season 34 Australia, Skyfire managed to win only three matches out of nine played – against Mako, Justice and Overt. Paradox, on the other hand, have won three matches out of the last five played against Forbidden, AVANT and TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE but lost against Rooster and Overt. As for their ESEA MDL Season 34 Australia results, Paradox won four matches out of nine played.
As mentioned, Skyfire are coming into the match in a terrible form. Across the last three months, Skyfire won only 28% of their matches and although Paradox's record (44% win rate) is not exactly stellar, it's still far better compared to Skyfire’s. Paradox will be entering this match with a stand-in, however, since Skyfire's newest additions played less than five matches with the core, Paradox should still enjoy a clear advantage and come away with a win. Bet on Paradox to make short work out of Skyfire!
