OREGON VS STANFORD
The biggest game of the year. Number 3 ranked Oregon taking on number 5 ranked Stanford.
Oregon have once again been shuffled back to number 3, after Florida State demolished Miami 41-14. Oregon however have a shot at redemption, if they can beat number 5 ranked Stanford away from home they will be without question the team that deserve's a shot at the mighty Alabama.
Vegas. Setting the line and trying to find a middle for this game would have been an absolute nightmare. -7.5 would have been the old conventional way of thinking, but this Oregon team is just an offensive powerhouse. The line came out at 9 - 9.5 and that was quickly gobbled up and bet through the key number of 10 to 10.5. Some punters will see this number, look at last years game which Stanford won in overtime 17-14 and happily put there money on number 5 ranked Stanford.
We feel this is a mistake.
Stanford are a great defensive team but they will succumb to Oregon's offensive at some stage of the game and in the blink of an eye this Oregon team can put up two touchdowns (on any team).
Even if Stanford can slow Marcus Mariota down. There are too many play makers on Oregon's offense.
Oregon's defense is also UNDERATED and Stanford are just awful on offense. We can not see Stanford putting up big numbers which means Oregon will always be hanging around.
Even if it's a late cover, we believe Oregon will show up, WIN by at least 2 touchdowns and take back the number 2 BCS ranking, and rightfully so!
