The Bulldogs suffered a poor 44-8 loss to the Dolphins in Round 12 missing all their Origin stars (and then some). It was an uncharacteristic performance as they conceded 7 tries, completed at just 64%, made only 7.7m per carry and allowed 7 line breaks. It wasn’t anything on what they have already produced this year. Having the Bye last week allowed them to prepare for this contest and they will be ready to go. Best they forget that effort and move on.
Rebuilding Eels
It was another strong performance for the Eels against the Panthers. Despite losing 18-10, they were gallant against their more-fancied opponents.
