Sydney arrives in Adelaide on a frightening 14-game winning streak. The Kings were near perfect in Game 1, shooting 66 per cent from the floor and 54 per cent from deep. Kendric Davis continued his exceptional form with 25 points and seven assists, while big man Tim Soares proved to be a mismatch nightmare with 22 points and eight boards. Brian Goorjian's squad has the chance to put a stranglehold on the series, and their ability to sustain high-intensity defensive pressure will again be the focus.
Home Court Factor & Best Bet
The atmosphere in Adelaide is notoriously difficult for visiting teams, and the 36ers have already shown in these playoffs that they can bounce back from heavy defeats. However, the sheer gap in depth and defensive versatility shown in Game 1 is hard to ignore.
While the 36ers will undoubtedly put up a much firmer fight in front of a sell-out home crowd, the Kings' disciplined defensive schemes and superior interior scoring should see them grind out another victory.
