The PGA TOUR season reaches its conclusion this weekend as the top 30 players in the FedExCup standings head to East Lake Golf Club for the TOUR Championship. We arrive at the finale with some winning form of our own after tipping Wyndham Clark at $26 to win last weekend's BMW Championship, and we will be hunting another winner as the biggest prize of the PGA TOUR season goes on the line.
For the second straight year, there is no staggered start, with all 30 players beginning Thursday at even par and the lowest score across 72 holes taking home both the TOUR Championship and the FedExCup. Scottie Scheffler enters as the No. 1 seed for the fifth consecutive season, but with $10 million and a five-year PGA TOUR exemption awaiting the winner, every player who has made it to Atlanta has a genuine chance of finishing the season on top.

The Field
Scheffler once again headlines an elite 30-man field after navigating the opening two weeks of the Playoffs to retain the No. 1 position. The world No. 1 has been remarkably consistent throughout 2026 despite winning only twice, although there is at least a slight question mark after he revealed he battled Hand, Foot and Mouth disease during the BMW Championship. Matt Fitzpatrick enters second in the standings, while Clark's victory at Bellerive propelled him into third.
Rory McIlroy produced an important response in St. Louis, rebounding from a disastrous 66th-place finish at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish solo third at the BMW. He now heads to a venue where he has repeatedly produced his best golf and will attempt to become the first four-time FedExCup champion. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood is also back after claiming his breakthrough PGA TOUR victory at East Lake last season.
There are six TOUR Championship debutants, including Kristoffer Reitan, Alex Fitzpatrick, Ryan Gerard, Min Woo Lee, Alex Smalley and Ryan Fox. Gary Woodland, Patrick Cantlay and Robert MacIntyre were the big movers at the BMW Championship, playing their way inside the top 30 at the expense of Kurt Kitayama, Rickie Fowler and Bud Cauley. With everyone starting level this week, however, their position in the standings becomes irrelevant once the opening shots are struck.
The Course
East Lake Golf Club once again provides the setting for the PGA TOUR's season finale, playing as a par 70 across a substantial 7,490 yards. The historic Atlanta venue has hosted the TOUR Championship every year since 2005 and has crowned every FedExCup champion since the Playoffs were introduced in 2007.
The former home course of Bobby Jones has undergone numerous changes throughout its history, with Donald Ross and Rees Jones among those to shape the layout before Andrew Green completed its most recent restoration. The changes have helped return some of East Lake's original strategic character, while its combination of length, demanding approach shots and firm green complexes provides a suitably complete examination for the final 30 players.
Tommy Fleetwood mastered the challenge last season, opening with rounds of 64 and 63 before closing with a 68 to win by three shots and claim his long-awaited first PGA TOUR title. Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay shared second at 15-under, while Corey Conners surged into fourth with a closing 62. With no starting-strokes advantage this year, another tightly contested four days should determine the FedExCup champion.
Tour Championship Best Bets
Rory McIlroy
McIlroy didn't finish the BMW Championship the way he would have liked, but a solo third was exactly the response he needed after finishing near the bottom of the field in Memphis. Already the only three-time FedExCup champion, McIlroy knows East Lake exceptionally well and arrives with his confidence restored. With everyone beginning at even par, this looks like an excellent opportunity for him to chase a record fourth title.
Wyndham Clark
There is little reason to jump off Clark after he delivered for us at $26 last weekend. His three mid-range birdies to close out the BMW Championship perfectly demonstrated the putting improvement that has transformed his season, and he now owns three victories in 2026, including the U.S. Open. Clark possesses exactly the kind of momentum you want entering a winner-takes-all finale and looks well placed to go back-to-back.
Tour Championship Value Bets
Tom Kim
Kim returns to East Lake for the first time since making his TOUR Championship debut in 2023, and he comes back a considerably more complete player. Still only 24, he has already accumulated an enormous amount of experience at the highest level and has shown this season that his best golf can stand up against elite fields. In a 30-man event with everyone starting level, $46 represents an appealing price for a player with his scoring ability and upside.
