Another interesting Friday night double-header is on the cards in Round 13. We start with the Sea Eagles looking to bounce back against the Warriors. Then, it’s Bennett versus Seibold in the coaching boxes as the Rabbitohs face the Broncos.

Manly return to Brookvale Oval in Round 13 with an important clash awaiting them against the Warriors. Last week on this ground, the Sea Eagles were simply outmatched by the top of the table Panthers in the 42-12 result. Adding to a disappointing night was another injury for 5/8th Dylan Walker, who will miss this clash. So Cade Cust returns to the lineup after being dropped for Walker. Manly have also lost Parker to a head injury in the centres and Funa will take his position.
It's obviously been a tough season for the Warriors but they were impressive last week in a 26-20 comeback victory over the Tigers at the SCG. After heading to the sheds down 14-8, Peta Hiku took advantage of the Tigers defence in the second half with 2 tries and Tohu Harris also added a rare try. An interesting storyline for the Warriors has been halfback Blake Green and he's now a Newcastle Knight after an early release. So Chanel Harris-Tavita will come into the side at halfback and joins Nikorima in the halves.
In the last 5 meetings between these two sides, either team has scored 11+ points in all 5 games. There is heavy rain predicted for Sydney on Friday but two converted tries for either side should still be a safe bet. Especially considering Manly gave up 42 points last week and the Warriors can concede quick points as well.

Rabbitohs vs Broncos

South Sydney come into Friday night's clash after a crucial victory over the Dragons on Thursday night which snapped a 2 game losing streak. Alex Johnson was the major key in the victory with a couple of brilliant tries as he finished with a hat-trick. It was also an impressive win considering halfback Adam Reynolds played just 8 minutes. It looks like he'll lineup against Brisbane as Souths are unchanged at this stage.
With the Broncos sitting 15th on the ladder after just 3 wins, Anthony Seibold will be hoping his team can bring him some joy with a win over his former team on Friday night. Last week, the Broncos conceded 3 tries in the last 10 minutes as Cronulla ran away with a 36-26 victory. But it's hard to fault the effort of the likes of Kotoni Staggs, Carrigan and Haas. In team selections, they'll be without Milford due to a hamstring injury. However, they welcome back outgoing backrower David Fifita and Brodie Croft from injury.
It seems like a longggg time ago, but Brisbane did beat Souths 22-18 in Round 2 of this weird season. While we don't think the Broncos can repeat that result, we do like the chances of a close margin considering the weather forecast and the last 2 meetings have been decided by under 5 points.
