The NBA continues with a huge 11 game slate this Tuesday, the 24th of December. There’s plenty of intriguing matchups on the slate, which should make for some excellent viewing on Christmas Eve. As usual, we have a full preview and betting tips for some of the key games of the day below.
NBA Betting Tips Tuesday 24th December
Toronto Raptors @ Indiana Pacers
11:10am AEDT
The Raptors are on their second leg of a back to back after a remarkable performance against the Mavericks on Monday. They trailed by 30 points with two minutes remaining in the third quarter and eventually won by three, breaking a franchise record for their biggest comeback. The Raptors are now 21-8 on the season and sit in fourth in the East standings.
The Pacers come into this off a disappointing loss to the Bucks on Monday. They hung around for the best part of three quarters, but in the end Giannis and co. were far too strong when it mattered. Despite the loss, the Pacers are still only 1.5 games behind second in the East standings.
As great of a comeback it was for the Raptors on Monday, the energy exerted will certainly play a part when they play on the road the following day. The Pacers were disappointing last time out, but we expect them to bounce back at home where they have been much better compared to on the road this season.

Washington Wizards @ New York Knicks
11:10am AEDT
The Wizards come into this off a 17 point loss last time out to the Sixers. That was their third loss on the spin and took their season record to 8-20, which has them down in 12th spot in the East. The Wizards have had a tricky draw with 17 of their 28 games coming on the road where they are 4-13 so far.
The Knicks are another struggling team in the East and come into this with a 7-23 record, which is the equal third worst mark in the NBA. They’re without any genuine stars on their roster and have lost a handful of games where they definitely should’ve come out victorious.
The Wizards are already a bad team, but they’ll be even worse in this matchup considering they’re without 5-6 guys that usually play big minutes. The Knicks will have a rare talent edge in this game and should be winning this pretty comfortably.
New York Knicks -3.5

Utah Jazz @ Miami Heat
11:40am AEDT
The Jazz come into this off a seven point win away to Charlotte last time out. That win was their fifth in a row and has seen their record improve to a respectable 18-11. The one question mark that remains is the Jazz’s ability to beat the top tier teams in the competition, which they haven’t faced during this recent run of form.
The Heat have been one of the real surprise packets this season and enter this clash having won two in a row. They were impressive winners two games back when they got the better of Joel Embiid and the Sixers on the road and will enter this game against the Jazz with an impressive 21-8 record, which has them third in the East.
The Jazz may have won five on the spin coming into this, but they’re still yet to prove themselves against quality opposition on a consistent basis, so we have to back the Heat in here. They’ve only lost once on their home deck all season and have the ability to win this pretty easily.
