NBA Betting Picks Thursday 12th December
Los Angeles Clippers @ Toronto Raptors
11:10am AEDT
The Clippers are starting to hit their straps with their stars now gelling well as a team. They’ve won four of their last five games with their only blemish in their run being a defeat against the Bucks who have won 14 on the spin. The Clippers are 8-2 in their last 10, 18-7 on the season and currently sit in second spot in the stacked Western Conference.
The Raptors have started to get hit with a couple of niggling injuries to their stars, particularly their guards with Kyle Lowry and Fred Van Vleet both missing action of late. As a result, the Raptors have won just one of their last four games, which was a one-point come from behind victory against a poor team in the Bulls.
The Clippers are the better team and have the healthier list heading into this clash and we see them as great value, despite being on the road. The Clippers are now firing on all cylinders and it’ll take a mighty effort from the Raptors if they’re to hold them off in this one.

Utah Jazz @ Minnesota Timberwolves
12:10pm AEDT
The Jazz are going through a bizarre form slump at the moment and come into this clash against the Timberwolves having won just one of their last five games. Jazz’s only win from the past two weeks came against a poor side in the Grizzles and all four of their recent losses have been by 9+ points, two of them by 20+.
The Timberwolves are a decent team this season and should be one of many teams fighting for the eighth seed come playoffs time. They were losers last time out against the Suns in Phoenix, which was their second loss to them this season. Overall, the Timberwolves have been fairly consistent on the season and come into this home clash at 10-13 and in 10th spot in the West.
The Timberwolves may have lost their last couple, but they finally return home for this one after a four-game road trip. On the other hand, the Jazz hit the road where they’re 4-8 on the season, which is the worst record of any team over .500. We believe the Timberwolves should be the favourites here and are worth backing into anywhere around $1.70.

New York Knicks @ Golden State Warriors
2:40pm AEDT
The last game of the day certainly isn’t one that will go down in history, but we do see some genuine value in it. Both the Knicks and the Warriors are going through their own struggles this season, but for different reasons. For the Knicks, they’re just flat out a really bad put together roster and have been for some time. Meanwhile, the Warriors are only bad because they’ve had a million injuries to key players over the past couple of months and have had to rely on kids to get them wins.
At home, we do fancy the Warriors to get the better of the Knicks in this matchup. The travelling Knicks will be on the second night of a road back to back after getting blown out in Portland on Wednesday, while the Warriors are expected to have All-Stars Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell available to suit up, which will obviously give them a big boost. Simply put, this is a battle of two of the worst teams in the association and we have the Warriors coming out on top.
